The problem is having everything in sync, especially if you use messaging platforms like whatsapp/Line, which can only be installed on one phone. There's a way around this, which is backing up the phone into iTunes, and restoring the backup into another phone. But then having to do this every single time is just annoying.

If you really must have different looking phones, buying different cases is easier.

How can I do it? Is cloud possible? I don't use line or whatsapp.

Maybe like a cloud backup or something?

There's got to be an easy way.

Look at your apps and see which one that store things locally. Those will be the problematic ones.
Then there's recent call list, SMS, etc.
And no, there's no easier way other than not to use those kind of services.

What I'm saying is, could I use the iCloud backup feature that comes with the phone?

Wouldn't that automatically put everything?

I know I'd have to buy more storage. 5gb would be too small.

How long does it take? It's never taken me more than 10 minutes to restore.

Do as you wish as it is your money. Color does no do much for me. All I demand is a black bezel. If color is that big of a deal to you, go for it.

What color car do you have and have you considered doing the same thing?

Lol, the stuff I've seen on Macrumour forums in these last few years, I'm not even surprised that these people exist XD
Actually, is it really a surprise? Just prowl around Youtube and you see people showing videos of themselves having multiple phones/iPhones with them. I don't find it uncommon to see people carrying two or even three phones nowadays. Considering some people may even have multiple family lines eligible for upgrades, etc, I don't think it's too farfetched for someone being able to afford more than one iPhone at a time.

Lol I think you misread what the OP said and what I said aswell.

Alot of people can afford several iPhones. I too myself owned 3 iPhones. 6S+ (personal), 5C (for work), 5S (dummy phone for holidays).

The OP is not buying 2-3 phones to carry around with him. He just wants to purchase an additional 2 iPhones 6S so he can rock out all the colours for the week, so he would essentially be restoring his iPhone 3 times a week. Alot of hassle just to show off the colours.

I love the Gold colour for the iPhone as I use to own a Gold 5S. I now own a Space Grey 6S+. As much as I love the Gold colour, I wouldn't buy another Gold 6S+ just to use and have the hassle to restore the iPhone everytime I want to use it.

So yea, you kind of misread what I said.

That's a badass idea, OP. If I were you I wouldn't limit myself to just the colors. I would rock a Gold 6s+ for the bling while partying, Silver 5S for a chilled out Sunday church look and use the Space Gray 6s for the mundane, weekday grind. May I recommend different storage sizes as well? 128 for the Gold (4k video and selfies), 16 for the Silver (news, hangover food (chipotle) apps) and 64 for the Space Gray (email, texts, "stuff")

Good luck and let us know what you end up getting!

Okay, you have tons of money. Congratulations. Why not just go ahead and buy one of each color (don't forget rose gold) in both the 6S and 6S Plus? Do the same with the new MacBooks, iPads (all sizes), and Apple Watches. Even iPods if you want. Hell, just go to the Apple Store and say, "I've arrived. Give me one of everything."

That wouldn't be very smart. There are a lot better things you could spend all that money on.

I still haven't decided whether or not to do it.

I need feedback on how I could transfer the data.

I am assuming I can use the iCloud backup. I have never used it before. My guess Is I would need more than 5gb.

Does anyone know about the iCloud backup? Is it fast? Any problems I'm not thinking of?

You are still pursuing this? Get a life. Seriously. Of all the so-called first world problems I have seen here, this is the most first world of them all. Just stop this nonsense. Buy a zillion iPhones, who cares? Or, as has been suggested, take your apparently enormous wealth and build a bonfire with it and enjoy the flames.

I currently have the space grey iPhone 6s Samsung version. I absolutely love it. These are the best iPhones ever made.

As much as I love the space grey color, I also love gold and the silver. Both very elegant.

I was thinking of buying them and using a different color every few days, or every week.

For example, Monday through Thursday I could rock the space grey. Then on Friday and Saturday if I'm partying I could rock the gold. I could then mellow out with the silver on Sunday.

What are your thoughts? I'd really like all three colors.
I lost my job, and rent is getting tough to cover. Hate to ask but any chance some of that spare money coming my way?

It's not a matter of the money. By my calculations it's less than $800 because I will sell them for the iPhone 7 in 10 months.

the cheapest MacBook cost more than that.

The real issue is data transfer and if it is reasonably feasible in that regard.
