I installed a Pioneer deck with an iPod adapter. It works fine with my iPhone 3G but now that I think about it I haven't checked to see if it's actually charging it. It probably isn't. I only know for a fact it charges my original iPod. It won't charge my friends iPod Touch so it probably won't charge the 3G.

i built in my power inverter and use that all the time.... i used to use a tape adaptor but now i am using 1/8" to 1/8" (or 3.5mm-3.5mm, same thing) adaptor and have been fine.

if i go on trips, i can plug into the inverter, or just sync it with the macbook and have that charge it

I have an aux. jack to listen to music and a griffin charger through the lighter. Both work great but when I use them together I get a high pitched tone over the music. Anyone else notice this? I guess it is interference from the charger. (I have a 2007 RAV4)

I've been looking for an "all in one" solution, wondering if anyone has found one that has the following

- FM Transmitter
- Charger
- Pivoting stand.. ie can have vertical / horizontal.

thanks!
