Better looking Apple Watch faces that resemble actual watch faces. Maybe partnering with Watch manufacturers giving option to those that would like to purchase different faces. Apple Watch faces look incredibly simple and cheap compared to competing products yet some of us wear it everyday in a professional setting. A simple area for much improvement.

I'm waiting for the MacBook Pro 16" with apple silicon, that's the requirement which is coming anyway but while we're at it :-
1. Mini led would be nice if it's going to give better battery life and contrast but I'm just as happy if not more to have an even smaller bevel, 1mm - I'm talking really edge to edge
2. if it can run iPhone apps why not make it touch screen too!, come on apple it's not a big deal we won't say anything honest!
3. Touch Bar I'm open too but I do find brightness, backlight, escape and volume keys as physical keys useful so as Populus said above maybe a reduce size Touch Bar ?, or even those keys don't need to be anything to do with the F keys but they could still be somewhere, perhaps styled differently and above the Touch Bar ?

No one wants fanless iMac. That is pure stupidity. Its not a computer for light tasks and with the massive screen it will need cooling for the chip and the screen otherwise it will be crippled machine with compromises and we already had those from Intel. iMac, MBP 16 and Mac Pro will all need cooling. Passive cooling is for small notebooks and iPads/iPhones.

What I want to see:

iMac: New redesigned iMac, with the design you always show on your renders. It is awesome, but it could be even more awesome with a M1X processor. If they achieve a fan less M1X computer with big surface for dissipation, it could help to make the iMac even thinner, but I'm not going against thermodynamic laws.

MacBook lineup: New design for the MacBook Pro, with a better, redesigned and shorter TouchBar. I would make the Touch Bar shorter, leaving the volume and brightness keys as physical keys, and the space between them, make it a shorter Touch Bar. Screen with higher screen-to-body ratio. And Face ID, of course. New 12" MacBook, or even better, a 13" MacBook Air with a smaller footprint and weight, but I'm afraid that's coming on 2022.

iPhone 12S (or 13): LTPO screen on ALL devices (power consumption is even more important for the mini), Touch ID on screen, bigger or better battery -specially on the smaller phones-, better camera system and much faster A15 despite using the same 5nm lithography. 6GB of RAM across the entire lineup, maybe 8GB for the Max.

iPad: New iPad Pro on 11" and 12.9" with powerful A14X and the camera system of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. New iPad mini with a Pro form factor (but no pro features, obviously, otherwise it would be too expensive). I would be excited for the next base iPad with the Air 3 body and A13 chip, if it wasn't because of the white dot screen issue that apparently happens to almost everybody sooner or later. And an iPad is a device that we don't buy every year, but instead every 5-6 years (or more)

Kill Lightning. USB-C on everything (keyboards, mice, iPhones, iPads, iPods, etc).
M1 16” MBP.
Fix Siri.
FaceID alternative (voiceID?) and ability to relax privacy controls on locked phones (barking 5 times at Siri, then being told I need to unlock my iPhone, then FaceID being blocked by a mask, then winter gloves causing password mistypes—this does not feel like the future)

Fix the broken MacOS. I don't need emojis, I need a UNIX system that works. Lion was better. It' been nearly 10 years of going backwards.
  • Allow more screens to be attached to M1 desktops.
  • Caching. Especially xcode build caching. Clean of build should just work. Having to find out how to clear out invalid cached files and then go round the file system deleting them is bordering on abuse. Having to restart a UNIX OS to clear files is criminal. Reboots are for Windows. Stop pretending MacOS is efficient and fix it. Caching isn't a fix, it's a cheat. Doubly so if it doesn't work. And it doesn't.
  • Fix xcode so that you can debug a Objective C application that has linked in swift frameworks.
  • Some feedback when transferring/syncing to an iOS device in Finder. Another half-baked solution (swift anyone?). Leave it in iTunes until you can do it properly outside of it.
  • Fix APFS. Allow file system changes in Terminal to show up in Finder before five minutes have elapsed. Allow me the option NTFS has to control flushing. I need truth, not 'fast lies'.
  • Put back .Thrash. Having a 'Bin' folder just invalidates case sensitive files systems (which you offer as a choice!) as every developer has a private 'bin' directory in their home folder and possibly more on removable media.
  • Put into AVFoundation all the things that were lost when you moved off QuickTime.
I'm sure I'll think of more after I hit 'submit' but I don't need the phone, the watch, the tv, the ipad, the fitrness subscription, emojis, animations, I just need the computer to work and you break it more and more with each release that prioritises frills over function. Form follows function, a basic tenet of industrial design. Or have the lunatics taken over the asylum? Rant over.

I’m hoping for:

Major enhancements to Siri
Add watch integration to fitness on iPadOS
Improved stability to AirPod device switching
AirTags
A software solution to FaceID while wearing masks? I mean there must be a work around!
I use the iPad with the watch and Fitness app. Works awesome! Not sure what you mean?

They aren’t going to offer the iMac in four sizes.

I'm hoping that Apple will bring out:

- iMac with their new M1X processor, larger monitor size (30"?), with same pricing as current 27" iMac (please!)

- Matching display (with same resolution, etc) to the new iMac for those who want a 2 monitor workstation for home working

- Apple Watch with more health related features (blood glucose would be absolutely fantastic)

- A larger universe of HomeKit compatible devices (not necessarily from Apple itself, obviously, but I'm hoping that Apple is working with those other companies to get more stuff working smoothly with HomeKit)

1. iMacs with Apple Silicon - My 27" iMac from 2015 could do with an update.
2. Update to the smaller MacBook. I didn't have a laptop so picked up an Apple Silicon one when they launched, in the expectation that I will probably be selling it in 2021 to get the updated version. Hopefully it will be a good enough upgrade to make it worth doing that.
3. A cheaper version of over ear AirPods. I would like to get some but like many was put off by the price. At some point my existing over ear paid will pack in (or I just can't resist any longer) and hopefully there will be a cheaper option available. In reality, a new version will almost certainly be announced a couple of months after I have bought the AirPods Max.
4. New Apple TV. We have an old (version 3 I think) one that needs replacing, so I'm waiting on an upgrade before doing so.
5. AirTags. I like the idea and have never for things like Tile due to needing other people running their app nearly (i.e. if luggage gets lost). Hopefully the Apple version will work well.

On the software side, my main wish is the ability to have a shared family photo library.

I quote myself: "If they achieve a fan less M1X computer with big surface for dissipation, it could help to make the iMac even thinner, but I'm not going against thermodynamic laws."

If your reading comprehension allows you to process what you read (although maybe my written expression in a foreign language is not that good), before jumping and talking to people without manners, you could understand that, what I said, is just merely speculation and wishful thinking because, as I said, I know thermodynamic laws, meaning, I know that much heat might be difficult to dissipate without active cooling.

You could have thought that before calling stupidity to another fellow member's opinion. And, since we're discussing this, many people might have thought it was an stupidity to think about fanless computers capable of rendering 4K footage just a few years ago. But hey, we all say stupidities. Some of them just become true eventually.

Rather than calling stupid to people with different opinions, I like to share ideas with those who think different. Sadly, this are tough times to think different.

A macMini without HDMI and bluetooth problems (M2? M3?). A watch that no longer requires an iphone with a great working cell in it. Waiting for MacOS to stabilize in a year or 2.Also waiting on my 2015 ipp 12.9 to die but I’m not holding my breath.

As to their iphones, I would like to see Apple
1. redesign the notification center. It's ridiculous.
2. add haptic feedback to the keyboard, and make it possible to customize different intensities to your heart's content. It's crazy that you have no feedback whatsoever if you're typing and the phone is on mute. Those who are concerned with battery can just turn it off.
3. make it possible to adjust volume for independent apps and settings and not this general thing they're doing. Separate volume control for keyboard volume, music volume, ring volume, system volume.
4. add suggestions from the address book when you're dialing a phone number. Common now Apple, this is a 10 year old technology.
5. make it possible to customize the texting app in every conceivable way. Font size, bubble size shape color etc.
6. also in the messages; make it possible to schedule a message to be sent at a certain time/date.
7. make it possible to move the icons on the desktop anywhere you want to.
8. Use an OS-wide clipboard and make cut and/or copy not expire until you, the user, cleans it. You should be able to copy text now and paste it tomorrow if you want to. And with multiple copy entries ready by long pressing, at least 10.
9. Give us an option to NOT go to the next email but back to inbox after deleting an email.
