Another Snow Leopard because Mac OS is buggy and broken.
Absolutely yes. Although I must admit that i rely on a full-size iPhone during the daytime at work. But I would enjoy a truly elegant and lightweight (max 140 grams) secondary phone again during the weekends, where I am an occasional smartphone user only. So an “IPhone 17 mini Air” pleaseiPhone 17 Mini
(Sorry. Not sorry.)
More useful buttons, I’d say.Fewer buttons on the iPhone !
You ask forWhat I'd be happy with:
AirPods Pro 3 - but a proper meaningful upgrade, redesign, H3 chip, other new features, maybe a different colour too
Mac Studio (mid-2025) - similar pricing to current Studio but with M4 Max/Ultra chips
Apple Watch Ultra 3 - again, a meaningful upgrade, not just minimal tweaks
Apple TV 4K - updated version with more connectivity and features
iPhone - An iphone that actually tempts me to upgrade after I skipped last year
What I'd love (but won't happen):
"iMac Studio" - Would love something like the internals of the Studio but inside the Studio Display. Or a new iMac Pro.
Wow. Build the most successful tech company on the planet and some folks will still complain. Go figure.New leadership
Yes wishful thinking. Physics (the physical distances) make what you ask impossible. For Apple to genuinely figure out a way to separate the CPU and GPUs in order to give GPUs access to unified memory but be user-replaceable for Mac Studio and Mac Pro users. I’m not talking being able to add-in AMD or NVIDIA GPUs, just being able to upgrade an Apple GPU without upgrading the whole box. Wishful thinking, I know.
In fairness the ASD isn't a gaming monitor.I just spec'd the Apple Studio Display against a gaming monitor on RTings.com and was surprised at just how really really poor the Apple monitor was.
I consider it over-priced. That said, based on reviews, to your list I'd add spatial audio (per reports drastically superior to typical monitor speaker systems), ease of operation with a Mac (e.g.: brightness adjustment with Mac keyboard keys) and built-in webcam with Center Stage (not really a big deal to me). I don't know off the top of my head of any 27" 5K displays with a refresh rate > 60-Hz as yet. Hoping Thunderbolt 5 will change that.Other than build quality, industrial design, internal power supply, pixel density, and calibration it loses on every single other consideration.
Smaller iPhone's not gonna happen. The 12 and 13 mini didn't sell well at all.I know this may sound contradicting. 😂
Smaller iPhone and larger iMac please.
Rationale:
Smaller iPhone as it is a mobile device.
Larger iMac as it is a stationary device.
