What I want to see….

iOS 19 and iPadOS 19 unifying the A12 Bionic and higher and ditching the A10 (7th Gen iPad)

MacOS 16 ditching 2018 MacBook Pro/Mac Mini and 2017 iMac Pro ( and maybe 2019 iMac)

tvOS 19 finally ditching the Apple TV HD ( and maybe the A10X Version for the lineup to be A12 or later like iOS/iPadOS 19 but maybe unlikely)

watchOS 12 I believe Apple will support the same watch’s as watchOS 11 ( this I don’t care about because I never ever owned an Apple Watch)

Bonus. Please Apple make the SE4’s features, attractiveness and price point in a way that is similar to the OG SE when that came out that makes this SE4 to the iPhone 15 for me like the OG SE was to the iPhone 6 in terms of support

Another Snow Leopard because Mac OS is buggy and broken.

Snow Leopard took almost two years to release after Leopard. If you want a Snow Leopard, it will take until 2026 to release... and given the fact that the full feature set of MacOS 18 hasn't yet been released, maybe it should take until 2028. But, it ain't gonna happen. Apple is now on an unstoppable train to find a way to declare Apple Intelligence out of Beta.

I want to see zero bugs in iOS and zero cheap students working on iOS software…

I just spec'd the Apple Studio Display against a gaming monitor on RTings.com and was surprised at just how really really poor the Apple monitor was. It desperately needs an update - at its current price and 4+ year old specs, it is an embarrassment. Other than build quality, industrial design, internal power supply, pixel density, and calibration it loses on every single other consideration. So, I would like to see a serious refresh to the Apple Studio Display.

In Safari, sync visited links across devices.

I’ve been waiting for this since the first iPad. Alas.

Mini Apple Studio Display 90 Hz (same size as iMac) at less than 800 $

New Apple Studio Display with 90 Hz

New iMac with 90 Hz display and Target mode, 512 go on base model

MacBook Air with 90 Hz display and USB C port on the right side, and 512 Go on base model

Cheaper standard iPhone with zoom X3 and better anti reflective and scratch resistant screen

Cheaper iPad Air and Pro

Not letting go of HomePod Ultra!!! TL;DR:
I believe rather than make a HomePod with display, succeeding Apple TV with a 3.2.2 Smart Soundbar and relying on users’ BYO 8K TV is the way to go.

  • 4 in/1 out HDMI 2.1b ports with full-screen input or app, full-screen app and picture-in-picture input, or SplitView up to four apps/inputs passthrough options
    • Maximizes current HD/4k market while accommodating current emerging and future 8k devices
  • Ultra-wide FaceTime with Center Stage compliments a TV’s viewing angles and distances
  • HDMI out can be used to generate a realtime color map for HomeKit lights in the corresponding room
  • Tailored apps like FaceTime, News, Clock, Weather, and Home
  • Robust CEC logic, commands, and controls
  • A secondary Wi-Fi array that regroups up to 21 HomePod(s)/minis under its WAP, maintaining their primary functionality but also immediately making available app and HDMI audio sources at HomePod Ultra available for Home Theater
  • 10 Gb Ethernet
Apple please take this lol!

- Apple Watch to sync with ipad
- Apple Watch battery doubled at least
- Apple Watch - fix the 10:09 bug when changing faces
- see my running routes on iPad (like a garmin connect interface) without going anywhere apple fitness paywall
- a Magic Mouse with sensible charging port (current one is a joke)
- iTunes (or whatever it’s called now to sensibly store your imported music & not just throw it into a jumbled mess. Stop creating multiple copies too
- Siri.. just make it work!
- give the user full control when turning AI completely off
- Apple to focus on software bugs & less on subscriptions
- stop trying to ram Apple Music subscription down my throat. The more you spam me with it the less chance I’ll ever try it

Just a few off the top of my head

What I'd be happy with:

AirPods Pro 3 - but a proper meaningful upgrade, redesign, H3 chip, other new features, maybe a different colour too
Mac Studio (mid-2025) - similar pricing to current Studio but with M4 Max/Ultra chips
Apple Watch Ultra 3 - again, a meaningful upgrade, not just minimal tweaks
Apple TV 4K - updated version with more connectivity and features
iPhone - An iphone that actually tempts me to upgrade after I skipped last year

What I'd love (but won't happen):

"iMac Studio" - Would love something like the internals of the Studio but inside the Studio Display. Or a new iMac Pro.
You ask for
Apple Watch Ultra 3 - again, a meaningful upgrade, not just minimal tweaks.

Please advise what you want out of an AW Ultra 3. IMO the AW Ultra 1 is about perfect already. Other than some wanting longer battery life, and some high tech things like BP and glucose monitoring evolving, what could/should Apple do with an AW Ultra 3? I like the AWU1 so much I cannot think of what more I might want out of an AWU3.

For Apple to genuinely figure out a way to separate the CPU and GPUs in order to give GPUs access to unified memory but be user-replaceable for Mac Studio and Mac Pro users. I’m not talking being able to add-in AMD or NVIDIA GPUs, just being able to upgrade an Apple GPU without upgrading the whole box. Wishful thinking, I know.
Yes wishful thinking. Physics (the physical distances) make what you ask impossible.

In fairness the ASD isn't a gaming monitor.
Other than build quality, industrial design, internal power supply, pixel density, and calibration it loses on every single other consideration.
I consider it over-priced. That said, based on reviews, to your list I'd add spatial audio (per reports drastically superior to typical monitor speaker systems), ease of operation with a Mac (e.g.: brightness adjustment with Mac keyboard keys) and built-in webcam with Center Stage (not really a big deal to me). I don't know off the top of my head of any 27" 5K displays with a refresh rate > 60-Hz as yet. Hoping Thunderbolt 5 will change that.

But...Thunderbolt only, suboptimal experience when using with a PC, lacks HDMI or Display Port so don't connect to video gaming consoles if I understand correctly. If you want VESA mount, you forego the stand, and if you get a stand, you have to pay around $400 extra if you want the height-adjustment feature. The one year warranty isn't that long, and given the cost you'll likely spring for Apple Care + at nearly $150 for 3-years, on top of the high cost.

Could use an update and a markdown.

iPhone pro Mini!

Either: Vision Pro with better Mac Virtual Display resolution, or folding iPad with 4K+ resolution for Sidecar.

Which would mean that when I get the 2nm M6 Ultra MacBook Pro, I could use the 14” instead of 16”

visionOS 3 with support for software prism/rotation adjustment for those with myasthenia gravis or Graves’ ophthalmology

– M5-based Macs. M6-based Macs in 2026.
– Mac tablet. Yes, I do not want the jailed limited iPad toy, even for free. I want a true and full computer with a true useful Finder like the Mac.
– Apple Watch Ultra truly standalone, without any dependency, not requiring other device to setup and use. No, I do not want an iPhone; even for free! Free your mind and your hands! Allowing to install any application including web browsers like Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Edge, etc. And with telescopic rotating retractable camera in the crown neck (protecting from dust and sweat, besides privacy).
– Apple Vision Pro not requiring prescription glasses. Not for useless spatial computing. Just to watch 3D movies.
- iPhone with Extendable-Foldable-Rollable display-screen. Check out “Huawei Mate XT (tri-fold phone)” and “Lenovo Tech World 2022; Rollable Tech with Luca Rossi” for two possibilities.
