benchmarks mean nothing to me, everyone i know charges their iphone 5 at least once a day

The point trying to be made is regardless of the iPhone 6 battery the 6+ is better. So if the both end up sucking in real life the 6+ will suck less.

I was really hoping for a huge battery jump. Oh well.

1. 6 is digital stabilization while 6+ is optical.
2. 6+ has bigger screen, battery ... than 6.
3. Anything else

Alot of prev posters already pointed it out some of the extra benefits from the 6+ esp battery life. But one thing I want to point out like in the other thread is I much rather get the more universally used resolution of 1920x1080p. The 1136x640 isn't even considered (1280x720p) HD yet. I much prefer to stream or have videos at the more universally used resolutions. The 6 has an oddball res to me.

Source? I thought rumors have both at 1 gig.

No source. Wishful thinking. The closest thing to actual public knowledge about the RAM is that Chinese benchmark test from a couple of days before the keynote, which pegged it at 1gb. We won't know for sure until an iFixit teardown.

I'm not sure if you're saying the 6 has 1136 x 640 or not. That resolution is on the 5S and 5C. The 6 has a resolution of 1334 x 750. So it is higher than 720P HD. Not by a lot, but enough. Oddball is right, but at least it'll display 720P video just fine. (I personally plan to go with the 6 Plus)

I'd like to get through half my day without having to charge my phone....my 5 must really suck

And do you honestly notice the difference on a device so small? I sit 12 foot away from my 60" plasma which has the same resolution. Whilst I agree it is a difference, I'll doubt it makes any difference when viewing it.

Can I clarify something. So does the landscape mode mean it will select the iPad version of an app, or will it still be the iPhone version?

I'd think IF it used the iPad version, they would have mentioned it. Plus I think Apple wants to keep the iPhone distinct from the iPad still. Something to differentiate the two, even though the Plus is really coming close, hence the phablet moniker.

Pretty much:

1. Landscape home screen
2. iMessage has avatar pics
3. Camera moves physically when recording video to stabilize
4. Wayyyy more battery
5. Bigger screen
