I hear they taste like chicken.

Yes, that's what I, um, hear as well.

I don't eat mcdonalds-like food. Try to keep my diet on the healthier, more natural foods, because I live an active lifestyle.... Some random foods I absolutely don't eat is peanut butter, I find the smell and taste disgusting beyond belief, though I love regular peanuts. I also don't touch watermelon & grapes, just never liked them.

Don't give me the shifty eyes! *waves fist*

I make my own peanut butter with peanuts and peanut oil. You should try it. Actually tastes like peanuts whereas hydrogenated peanut butter tastes like despair.

How people can stand the honk of parmesan is beyond me.

It's beyond me, too. Whenever I'm in an Italian restaurant, the server looks at me strangely when I refuse the "freshly grated" Parmesan. No, thanks, I'd rather not have my farfalle alla puttanesca smelling like so much vomit, if you don't mind. And the canned stuff... double ugh.

I just remembered something else. I generally don't eat nuts, any nuts. I'm not allergic or anything, I just really don't like them.

I LOVE cashew nuts ... Others too. But cashew are just awesome ...

----------

I hate the taste of leek in any kind ...

Roasted onions make me feel really bad

And don't like to see seafood; when laying on my plate and I can look into the eyes of the dinner. (sushi & sashimi is fine)

One time my wife got kind of lobster in an Onsen; while his tail was prepared to be eaten his head was <censored>; yes, it was fresh

I don't eat seafood, except for maybe some fried stuff here and there under special circumstances. But if it's the animal on a plate, oh hell no. If I have to snap pieces of the body apart to get to meat, double hell no. If it's slimy, no. I also won't eat anything bizarre like bugs, snails, rodents, etc.

Other than that, I generally don't eat game meat (deer, buffalo, duck, quail, etc). I stick to the big three: cow, pig, and turkey. There are few vegetables I don't eat, but for no reason than I've never really made an effort. I might hate a lot of them.

Other than that, I eat most things. I also find most of what I eat "good". I'm not a picky eater at all. I am just as happy having McDonald's as I am a really good steak. I like a good steak more, but I won't complain with a Big Mac.

no chicken?

I really really hate the beef stew they make down here called "caldo de res", really really hate it, i also don't like beef liver, i also hate pear squash/guisquil/chayote, squash or any other vegetable that's sweet or has a squishy texture

My bad. I don't really like any chocolate any more. It's either too sweet or too bitter.

Lindt has about every combination available as far as sweetness to bitterness goes.

At least just say you don't eat it because it's mostly empty calories and you're minding your health, that's the reason I don't eat a lot of it either. ;) (though I do like to indulge once in a while with very dark chocolate, 85%+).

I don't find 99% chocolate enjoyable. 85% is borderline, and 70% is my sweet spot. I almost never eat anything below 50%, it's just sugar.

Exactly this.

Because the way you cook it does make a difference. I used to think I hated broccoli but it turns out I only hated them the way my mom cooked them, she overcooked them to the point where they were yellow and soggy. It turns out I love lightly steamed broccoli.

Totally. I can't stand overcooked vegetables in general. My mother-in-law would always overcook the veg (and I mean really overcook) so for partially selfish reasons I help out by tending to it myself. She has less to do and I get veg that hasn't lost all nutrients and isn't horribly flaccid. I took over the gravy to get the consistency I prefer too. Manipulation through helpfulness! :D They all actually seem to prefer it "my way" so hey, win-win!
(If only I could get them onto beef that isn't so overcooked :p)

Food I don't eat

Mayonnaise - truly disgusting
Brussell Sprouts - as above
Sushi
Smoked Salmon
Most nuts other than pistachios and cashews
Steak
Melon
Turnip
Carrots

The mayonnaise causes a problem buying sandwiches since it appears to be compulsory....

Marks & Spencer only make one sandwich without mayonnaise - and guess what - it has a huge sticker on it saying "it's great without mayonnaise !!".

Guess which sandwich sells out first ???

Black Coffee - bleh, too strong

Buttered carrots - I'll eat raw carrots, just not cooked and buttered >_<

Whole whole wheat spaghetti noodles - i love ww rolls and ww bread, just not
spaghetti

Coleslaw - not to mention the fact that i hate cabbage, but eating cold coleslaw along with my warm meal just tastes... weird

Mayonnaise - I gotta have my MiracleWhip!

Apple sauce - the texture is just plain disgusting

Orange juice - I'm more of an Apple juice person ;)

Marmite - I guess you love it or hate it :(

Dark chocolate - white chocolate all the way!

No fastfood. And i refrain from eating meat, but sometimes I don't have a choice since I only eat what I can afford (which sometimes includes free food with meat in it, like pizza or whatever)
