Love and a Mac

I am still having a deep and meaningful relationship with my iBook. I may need to seek professional psych help soon, as I am not sure that it's completely platonic.

It was only a couple of days ago when I was sat in bed staring calmly into to soothing blackness of my iMac that I realised I have never been frustrated with any of my macs. Ever.

This moment of clarity was born out of a series of frustrating days at work where the systems have frequently proved to be an obstructive impediment to the task-flows rather than an aide, that it reminded me of a quote from Mr Douglas Adams:
"I've been a Macintosh user for as long as there have been Macintoshes, right from the very first one. It was elegantly thought out, intuitive, and it was such a pleasure to use that you wanted to hug it."
And that is exactly how I felt when I purchased my first one. And I still want to hug it today. :)

I have been through 2 logic board installs on the iBook that I am typing to you on now. Even with the failures, and swapping the boards (myself) I have never been mad. I did get quite frustrated taking it apart at some points (Why oh why did they design it like that!), but I never got pissed, and I still love the iBook.

Also love the other computers in my sig, and the others not listed.
