By the end of 2 years I start to run out of space (as photos fill it up slowly). Couldn't convince myself that was reason enough this time as I can always download them to my computer with Image Capture. Next time I'll splurge a bit so I don't even have to think about it.

16. I was kind of in a position of not being able to wait for the larger capacities to be in stock. It isn't that restrictive; I just need to be a little more conscious of apps and music that I'm not currently listening to/using, respectively.
If you preordered, they all came at the same time.

Apple made a killing by swapping out the 32 for 64gb for the same price. Made more money since it forced the average customer (not Mac rumors fanatics) to get the 64 bc why not?

I wonder how many people always get the 16gb but got the 64gb this time?

Probably why they didn't offer 32 gb as the entry model.

i used to always go for the base model as in 16 Gb but now that the 64Gb one is the price of the 32GB one and i could get 4times as much storages for just a 100€ more it would have been stupid not to go for the 64GB and i dont regret it at all. its nice to leave photostream on, get random apps, many more spotify playlists for offline listening and not having to worry as much about space.

What is photostream exactly? And how is it different from camera roll? I myself don't want two things going on at once. Can I eliminate/turn off this photostream or whatever?

Photostream saves all your photos into the Cloud, so you can access them across iDevices. I have mine turned off. You can enable/disable in iCloud > Photos settings.

Thank you, Ann. I may do that, and I'm guessing I'll still be able to transfer photos from my camera roll onto my computer and the cloud later on if I want to.

Alternatively, could you disable camera roll and just use photostream, which would allow you to both keep the photos on your phone while saving them saved in the cloud?

How many songs can you comfortably keep on your phone with a 16GB? How many apps? How many photos? I'm trying to get sense of what 16 means in real world terms.

I have about 40 non-default apps (only 2 games), 410 songs, no videos, and I delete photos after transferring them to my Mac. I have about 2.5 GB left on my 16 GB. That's about the amount of space I like to keep available.

I have the 16GB. I don't have songs on my iPhone (my iPod does that!) and don't add videos, so the 16GB model is perfect for my needs.

I previously had an Android 32GB model and never used half of that memory.

6+ 128gb I knew I didn't need it all yet but I wanted to put my whole music collection on it, still have 60gb free. Why do people need terabyte hard drives on computers and only use 165gig?

128gb. I originally wanted the 64gb but the store only had 128gb on launch day so I went with it. It's actually been kind of nice not worrying about how many pictures I have saved, taking tons of videos, and putting my entire music collection on the phone. I don't think I would go smaller now.

iPhone 6 64 GB. Perfect size for me: I carry a selection of my music and photos, about 35 apps, etc. Doesn't hold my complete music or photo libraries, but it's plenty roomy and I don't worry about running out of space.

had a 16gb 6 plus, but now have an 8gb 5c. Switched to ATT from TMobile. Waiting to unlock my 6 plus, though I might try and sell it and get a 64gb.
