I got 256 on my new 11 inch, because even though I use cloud services, and 64 is fine for my phone, I thought that with storing movies to watch on long flights, I should get 256. Turns out, though, that I still have 200 left on my 256 12.9 inch iPad. So maybe 64 would have been fine!

I have found I end up filling up the extra space with videos I never have time to watch.

But probably not the smallest one.

64GB 11 inch since it was the best option to be able to afford getting the Apple Pencil as well. My iPhone X is 256GB and most of gaming is done there. I think I should be fine with the 64GB.

I went 1TB. I wanted to try extend the life of my Pro by a little, so I wanted the 6 instead of 4GB.

I have to admit, it's nice not worrying about loading my entire libraries for Comixology & Comic Zeal, as well as not worry about file sizes of projects right now.

With 2TB iCloud there is no reason why I should need more than 256GB for the next several years so that's what I ordered. Then there was the RAM thing. Still not buying 1TB because it is more than I budgeted.

Ended up doing the same! Went from 512 to 1TB

Went for 512. It seems to be a good balance of price and convenience as someone who does use the cloud, but prefers to have everything on device as well (especially if it’s a productivity device). I use iCloud for everything on my phone.

11” 256g LTE space gray. I have 237g available on my iPhone X so I figured 256 would be plenty for the iPad since I stream everything and do not use a lot of apps.

I saw that as well. I’m referring to the ssd. In the past the smaller size is a bit slower. I’m assuming this is still the case. Just asking if anyone can confirm.

1tb is faster/more powerful.

I doubt it. The extra RAM will be because of the size of the 1TB SSD
You may be able to page more items in memory but it won’t matter a flick in any speed differences.
