what happened to the reversible USB?

    The "leakers" also announced that it wouldn't be included with the iPhone 6.

    Maybe we'll see it on the 6s.

    Clearly it wasn't ready for launch or, it never existed.

    I believe it is being incorporated into all USB cords, so maybe there is some agreement with Apple to release all at the same time? Kind of like what happened with the Nano Sim?

    My lightning cables are already reversible enough for me while I am fumbling around in bed at night trying to plug my phone in to charge.

    It didn't make it. Still testing phase or it will never make it.

    Why does this require a change with the iPhone? Wouldn't they be able to just update the cable and the power box thingy? The lightning cable dongle is already reversible.
