I was looking at some other peoples stats and no one has any points after about 1800 yesterday (weds) so I think everyone is in the same boat for now. we will have to wait to see what is going on I guess
Yeah look at any teams overall stats. They all have a huge drop in production. The first place team shows it very well. But everyteam has this drop.
yeah i know. i read that they would add them, but if they haven't by now, i don't think they will

I have an iMac core duo going at it. She isn't much with her 1.83Ghz but it'll be at it 24h a day. It's about to complete it's first WU after 1day 19hours. It sounds a bit long to me compared to the times a say reading the thread, is this normal?

Make sure that once you have a passkey and 10 SMP untis folded you run bigadv units.
Strange it hasn't been done yet. It would help as we struggle to take on ClubLexus as they have raised their production very close to our level.
On another note, it looks like the Gulftown 6 core that will be next in the Mac Pro are screaming. It will be hard to resist getting a 12 core machine (24 with hyperthreading) unless the price is ridiculous. Should be good for 60k PPD
Keep in mind some of the people in this thread are using Mac Pros.

have you read some info about the Gulftown's? please share if you have! oh i know it will be hard to resist buying one!
I'm using the default Folding@home client from standford's site. FahMon and F@H WUdget report the core as Gromacs SMP, and it is using both cores. I noticed with activity monitor that it has spawned 4 threads each using around 45-50% CPU which is a bit odd as it is only a dual core machine with no HT. The PPD is at around 1080 and it is going at 1.66x minimum speed. What do you think?
That seems about right for a 2 core system.
As for the 4 process I think thats because the code was written to be used on 4 cores. This is how it should run on 2 cores. Unless they changed it since back when I first was folding. I have lost touch with the current stuff.

I think they will come either this last update or the next one. As if you look at the hourly graphs for any team a huge spike existed for the last hour. This is probably stanford processing log files. It may take time for them all to be processed.
I've got my passkey! Now I have a couple of my machines working on units. I have a small Linux Render farm that I'll put online here shortly.
