Hello,

My imac is currently running Leopard. If I choose to upgrade to Snow Leopard and then to Lion, will the upgrades to the OSX leave my personal data and applications intact? (examples, iTunes library, iPhoto library, and documents)

Yes. They will remain intact.

It's still a good idea to backup (besides regularly) before upgrading. You should, at a minimum, use Time Machine and an external drive.

gr8tfly,

Thanks, for that, I thought it must, but wanted to check. I have a an external drive used for Time Machine, and my itunes library is also on an external drive with 2 back ups on other drives.
Great, so it looks like I am all clear to move ahead then... thank you
