Haven't sold anything, but I've purchased quite a bit of vintage Mac and SGI gear over the years. Also a cable modem and an LCD.

That's an odd ad... But when it comes to normal things, it really isn't too weird. Ask to meet in a very public place (be smart), make the sale/trade, and you're done! I've actually met some cool people. One man was buying my MBP for his pastor. Another was buying my iPad because he flew helicopters for (I think it was) the National Guard, and he could get his maps on the iPad to save money. And the man who bought my Samsung Captivate worked for the company that actually designed the Motorola Razr. Apparently they sold the design or something. Again, very interesting! But it'd make sense if my next purchase includes me getting robbed :p can't stay lucky for long!
