Haven't sold anything, but I've purchased quite a bit of vintage Mac and SGI gear over the years. Also a cable modem and an LCD.

I never bought or sold anything through Craigslist. Always seemed a bit too weird to me.

I once saw an ad a woman placed saying she'd go on a special date with someone, but only if he brought her 150 roses. Needy bitch.

That's an odd ad... But when it comes to normal things, it really isn't too weird. Ask to meet in a very public place (be smart), make the sale/trade, and you're done! I've actually met some cool people. One man was buying my MBP for his pastor. Another was buying my iPad because he flew helicopters for (I think it was) the National Guard, and he could get his maps on the iPad to save money. And the man who bought my Samsung Captivate worked for the company that actually designed the Motorola Razr. Apparently they sold the design or something. Again, very interesting! But it'd make sense if my next purchase includes me getting robbed :p can't stay lucky for long!

Bought a croquet set. Sold a pair of tickets to a 900-seat, private engagement, valentines day special concert by Jason Mraz—paid $15ea, sold for $160ea. Price of romance I guess. ;)
