When you have one primary Mac that has 10 connected displays, a TV mounted on the wall, several peripherals (adapters, powerbricks for the adapters, etc), modem, routers, switches, femtocell, Amazon Firestick and it's ethernet adapter and power supply, two NAS boxes, a RAID drive, a drive enclosure, a Mac Mini, power cables for phones/devices, power cables for lighting and a clock, USB devices and a MBA that is what you get.

Both pics are from the left side of my MacPro (in the center underneath my desk) and the right side of my Mac Pro. I did not take other pics to show the full extent.
And that is the PRIMARY reason I hate going underneath my desk. It is a warren.
EDIT: On top of that, it's embarrassing. There's really no way to organize any of this. It's really beyond standard cable management practices.
