I like the way the rha ones look and whatnot and good price range on them.any major stores Cary them to go check out?
RHA MA600i. Most of the others are very good as well.
I must add my voice for the Comply foam tips, really excellent accessory and very comfortable.

It'll help to post your budget and the sound quality you're looking for. I was never a fan of heavy/exaggerated bass. Something more clear sounding with detailed mids and highs is what I prefer.

Klipsch S4 (now R6) are great for the price.
Sony XBA-3 are what I currently use. They're also dynamic.
I've had some Etymotic research earbuds. They're very detailed but lows are quite weak. Had some durability issues with couple of them.

+1 to comply tips. They isolate sound much better than silicone tips provided with earbuds.

Head over to head-fi.org. lots of information there.

Thank you all for the feedback.
The only store I know of I could check out to see Ben in person or whatnot would be a Best Buy sadly. No Apple Store within 2 hours of me.

I have been looking into the rha and klipsch ones you all have recommended and hope Best Buy carries them to check out before making a decision

First off I'd recommend you to change the thread title. I was about to give you my headphone recommendations when the post is about earbuds :p

So, as for earbuds you might want to try the Sennheiser CX-300. They're not the best in class, but they're relatively inexpensive.

Nice then!
I use the Sennheiser Momentums (v1.0). I have both the over-ear and on-ear models, and I can say the difference between them is substancial. I bought them for €200 and €100 each, and for the price they're well worth it. They're very well designed, and the new models are comfortable too. As for the sound, particularly for the over-ears, it is balanced and accurate. It's really lovely.
You might also want to consider the Audio-Technica M-50's, but aside from that they're very, very good.

I use three with my iPhone, but all of them are in the Earphone (not headphone) category.

First, I have a Harman Kardon AE for $149 it sounds great for those who want a strong bass response without sacrificing vocal & treble quality.

Next up, I have an RHA MA750i. This is what I can recommend best. It's only for $129 and easily beats every earphone recommended here in the accessory department + it's built like a tank & has a badass 3 year warranty.

My most recent purchase was the Apple In-Ear. I was amazed by their analytical sound signature and transparency/instrument separation for just $59 (got them on a sale). It's not for everyone, but there are a few who'll appreciate them. Two issues I had with these is that the build quality seems flawed and the silicone tips can be easily lost. These come with a year of warranty.

Interesting observation. I've always been curious about Apple's IEMs. I think I may pick up a pair and give them a demo.

I use my EarPods the most. I love the shape. I don't like earplugs that go into my ear. I would really like an EarPods-style like set of earbuds but then wireless and better sound quality.

Also I have an over-ear Bose headphone for the occasional movie on my iPad.

I use the Apple headphones when mowing the lawn and my blue Beats Solo when lounging around the house.

Do they come with multiple tips? This is a nice feature for those having difficulty getting ear buds that fit in small ear canals.
