Now that's much better. I will find it hard to believe that Apple would release a "new" iPhone model that looks the same as the previous two models. That would be such a fail.

....well 'the new iPad' was released and that looks identical to the the iPad 2 so 'the new iPhone' could still look very similar to the 4/4S!

Here we go, now this looks nothing like iPhone 4/4S.

More like a Samsung Galaxy Note equivalent than an S III equivalent if you ask me.

The screen alone makes this look beautiful. It almost pops out at you :p

Taller = fail
Taller AND wider = win

If you'd prefer taller over what's pictured in the OP - You are weird (Don't gimme that small hands crap either)

Picture shown is a no go. Apple is already in the final stages so why bother with more dreams that will never happen

Taller = Win

Taller and wider = Big Fail. Go to the Android phones.

If you'r prefer tall and wider like the picture, you are just a youngster that wants games, movies on a small cell phone and need to understand Apples business model. They do not listen to fanatics or geeks, but to the larger audience :D ;)

Nice assumption sir.

But you are incorrect (Although I do have an Android smart phone at the moment). I'm no youngster. I don't play games or watch movies on a cell phone. I'm neither a fanatic nor a geek.

I simply want a slightly bigger iPhone. Not just taller.

Oh, and I'm entitled to my own personal taste thank you kindly.

I don't get why people want their mobile phone to look like a mini tablet. A want something that fits comfortably in my hand and doesn't feel like a stretch to hold when up against my ear.

If I want to spend time browsing I'll pick up a laptop or tablet, but the current iPhone screen size if fine for looking up odd bits of information.

Will be happy if the new iPhone is a little longer (and extra row of icons on each page would be handy) but the same width and maybe a little thinner and lighter
I don't know about yours but last time I checked my laptop didn't fit in my pocket.

you're the one who doesn't seem to understand Apple's business model. There's a reason they are sticking a quad core CPU and beefier GPU into the new iphone. Last time I checked, you don't need a quad core to make phone calls and check email.

Than I suggest you stay with the Android phones and the Android forums since Apple will not introduce a wider phone. No point coming here to rant about dreams you have on a wider iphone. ;)

the thing is...those are mock ups and not in any way, shape, or form real.

No **** Sherlock but isn't it sad that apple with all of their billion continually fail to have their released phones look as great as these mock ups by citizens and fanboys. Maybe they should offer these guys a job

Read my first post in this thread again my friend. I simply said I admired the mockup. No ranting involved.

I think you should stay away from these forums and let others have their own opinions :)

The thing is with the designs a lot of people post they totally disregard what is actually possible. Sure anyone can do a mockup with no regards to internals, battery life, and price.

For example....what a great mock-up, but we are nowhere near this.

Yer totally agree, there needs to be a line between a tablet and a smartphone. I think 4" is the best, because its small enough to be able to reach each edge of the screen with one handed operation, and still big enough to do basic and small amounts of media consumption. Its a phone, you call people on it, and use the internet. I kinda think its getting a bit out of hand if you ask me.
