What if I have 3 different colored bumpers?

That isn't going to work!
It is absolutely ridiculous to buy three bumper for one phone...as some king of fashion statement...and then "expect" a refund on all three.
Gee I guess I'd like the free bumper assortment pack too....
this is a valid concern for me to.
i bought three bumpers. one for my oldest, one for my youngest, and my dad. i charged all of them on my credit card and just got the cash for them later that night. what happens? would i only be allowed one return? i was thinking about taking the serial numbers of their phones but i figured apple would think i just got some random serial numbers from people or what not.

It's probably one per phone. So you'll be okay. They will easily be able to check that you purchased all three phones (assuming you did) and it'll be fine. If you didn't purchase all three or if they aren't under the same family plan then you might have a problem.

No one will know for sure until next week but logic says: Prove you bought one i4 and a bumper: get one refund. Show two and two: another refund. Etc.
P.S. are you not going to tell your dad and keep his cash and the refund?
Think about it people. How many cases does it take to cover your iPhone to help with the death grip issue? The answer to that question is the answer to how many you get a refund on or get for free.
you will only get one of them refunded. I bought 5 bumpers. Black, White, Green, Orange, and Blue. The Black and White I alternate on my Black iP4. When the White finally arrives I will use White, Orange, Green, and Blue to alternate on it.
thanks redgaz and hurriance. i didn't want apple seeing that i bought all three on one credit card and assume that i have a weird fetish for bumpers. but yeah, i guess i'll take all three iphone serial numbers. and yeah, their all on the same plan.
I guess I could understand "some" concern...but Apple will do what is fair. And that would be one bumper per iPhone. And to me...that is more than fair.
well technically its my bumper. i intended to use it but gave it to him as a gift. i was going to get the refund and maybe use his iphone to get the free case cause he already has one.

I bought 2 bumpers - green and pink - and it hasn't crossed my mind to ask for reimbursement for both before I read this thread, it was obvious that Apple's offer is only fair: 1 bumper/case fix per iPhone.

Don't try to take advantage of the situation.
If you bought 3, get your $30 refund and then have the other 2 ppl each claim their free bumper.
Also, the reason why the bumpers are unavailable to purchase right now is, News Flash!...they just announced free bumpers to all 3 million iPhone 4 customers. Why go through the trouble of issuing more refunds than they have to when they can just send them the bumpers?

This is why I believe they are doing it online. You'll be required to enter a serial number for each iPhone 4. Then you'll get one free bumper or case or refund per phone.
