iP5 wish list (i'd be coming from a DroidX)

LED Notification !
Native Navigation application (c'mon Apple, DO IT)
4.0+ inch screen
Thinner than iP4
Not made of all glass
PowerVR SGX543MP2

^^ if Apple has all these, I'm switching over to iOS ecosystem, and trade in my iPad for a Honeycomb tablet.

I like to keep my operating system portfolio diverse :)

Good for you!

In response to your wish list,

1. likely - this was kind of leaked in the keynote
2. not till iOS 6 :(
3. 4" and no bigger! :D
4. probable
5. also probable
6. another probable

4" Screen - Hopefully it has a 4" screen, may be 3.7" though.
1GHz Dual Core A5 CPU - Definitely happening
PowerVR SGX543MP2 Dual Core GPU - No idea
1GB RAM - iPad 2 only has 512MB, hopefully the iPhone 5 has 1GB though.
64GB Model - Definitely happening
8MP Camera with improved sensor and a lens, 1080p video recording - More than likely
2MP Front camera - Improved front camera, may or may not be 2MP.
More Cowbell - Definitely happening
NFC - Hopefully, though perhaps a little premature.
LTE - Would be surprised, could be announced later on.

Edit: Thunderbolt compatibility, don't know whether the iPhone 4 can already support this technology or not.

Well I have to say that if Apple doesn't step up to the plate with a larger screen, I'm off to Android. There's just too many modern phones out there to be stuck with a crampt little 3.5" screen any longer.

There, corrected it for you.

Just go then, why make empty threats?

Why did you come here to tell us this? Just go.

Well, I wouldn't exactly say it was a threat...
"it is a communicated intent to inflict harm or loss on another person"... Sorry if you felt threatened.:)

Funny how selective people can be when copying things from Wikipedia. Shame you missed out the bit that relates to the trolling threat you made:

"A threat is an act of coercion wherein an act is proposed to elicit a negative response."

Next I suppose you'll be trying to say that a "negative response" only constitutes physical harm on another person... Try harder next time, from your new Android phone maybe?

Whew, this grows tiresome, welcome to my ignore list.

Haha, look at how you back out and crawl under a rock when proven wrong... Still, at least you have admitted your actions for everybody else to read. Having said that, I know you will read this message anyway.

Let it go son, you ass is showing.

Sorry, I don't take advice from people who can't string a simple sentence together without making a mistake.
You've really got a chip on your shoulder today. Your mother forget to buy your favorite cereal? Shoot back all you want, no one cares and I'm moving on.

4" Screen - Too large
1GHz Dual Core A5 CPU - To be expected
PowerVR SGX543MP2 Dual Core GPU - Not bothered
1GB RAM - Would be nice
64GB Model - Not bothered
8MP Camera with improved sensor and a lens, 1080p video recording - Not bothered
2MP Front camera - Not bothered
More Cowbell - Now you are being stupid
NFC - Not bothered
LTE - Not bothered

Not an insta-buy, but I'll be getting the next iPhone on day one. Big difference relative to needs and circumstance.

Seriously the cowbell comment was out of line, this user does not deserve 19 negatives, I will start the revolution by providing +1.

Nope, I'll pass for the first time since the original iPhone came out.

Clearly the rumors are strong enough to reveal the next model (iPhone 6) is now the center of focus. There's Apples ambitious and exciting A6 processor, the blending of iOS & OS X, so for iPhone enthusiasts the iP6 will be the one to have. It's a perfect time to skip iP5, save some money and time. My iP4 is doing just fine.

This will also give Apple some time to sort out iCloud & Lion. By sometime in 2012, Lion will be much better than now. I've got all my 2009 & 2010 Macs running really well on 10.6.5. I chose to stop there since I was not ready to risk running Lion ver 10.7.0 on them. I've been with Apple far too long to actually expect a first version to be ready for prime time.

That said my curiosity was strong enough I decided to take advantage of Amazons 20% discount, and buy a Lion powered 13" MBA just fir the fun of it. Bugs aside, Lion is interesting, but not a must have for me. It reinforced how happy I am with 10.6.5. Going forward it will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Read some of his comments, he is a very negative person.

yawn....so tired of specs. Apple products are not about specs, hence why you don't see Apple touting them like the Android commercials. But what else can apple surprise us with? Super retina display? Gesture controls on back of phone? Augmented reality? I don't know, I'm running out of ideas :p
