Just recently upgraded to the iPad 11th Gen. Pretty satisfied with it getting the job done (mostly a media consumption device) and the upgrade to 128GB of storage has been a nice welcome. I'll probably keep this one for at least two years before considering an upgrade.

I have a 13” M2 iPad Air. No interest in upgrading until it stops working.

A 15” iPad would possibly interest me, but only if they get Sidecar Pencil drawing to work as solidly as a Cintiq.

First-gen 10.5" Pro ("Second generation iPad Pro" - A10X chip, so stuck on iPadOS 17.)

Will probably replace with an 11" M5 whenever it comes out.
Same here - still have the original first gen 12.9" iPad Pro.
Very little use over the years.

Since I started flying, I am looking at an iPad Mini with cellular for GPS needs whilst in the air for use with either Garmin Pilot or Foreflight aviation apps....

My employer, the university I work for, provided me with a 12.9" iPad Pro M1. I use it with MKB and a 34" monitor in the office, and the same setup at home. I scrapped my 15" MacBook Pro from 2017 some years ago.

As I will be retiring in a few months, I need a personal iPad, as I have moved from an iPhone Pro Max 15 to a Nokia 3210 2024.

I am considering an 11" iPad Pro M5. Why the M5? I want it with 16 GB of RAM, so why not wait a few months?

I plan to swap from being a teacher to being a student again, so I want an 11" iPad without an MKB which fit in my backpack and in class.
Nano coating would be grate too.

So in January February Ish 2024 I had started noticing issues with my M1 12.9 IPP so I brought it to Apple and had them run a diagnostic it came back saying that the logic board was starting to fail and they offered me the ability to purchase a replacement unit for $700 or a trade-in value of some amount low and behold three months later in May they release the 13 inch M4 I’ve always bought my cellular models from T-Mobile and at the time of finding out the logic board was going to fail, there was no official announcement of the M4 13 inch but I was ready the second they announced it. I pre-ordered it and was able to trade in my M1 to T-Mobile and get a nice trading credit every month as of right now the dual front facing camera and the M 5 upgrade doesn’t entice me so I’ll probably go another year a.k.a. the next generation but we’ll just have to wait and see what Apple announces alongside the new phones and watches, etc. but I have absolutely loved the tandem O lead the battery life been paid the testing iPad 26 since June when it comes to my phone I actually stopped using my iPhone 15 Pro Max and I’m stuck with my Pixel 9 Pro XL

I have an 11 IPP M4, but compared to my previous iPad’s the battery is quite woeful. If the M5 version has a real meaningful improvement, I’ll jump to that.

Me too. I love that thing. It’s my kitchen computer: Smart keyboard and all. Hate that it’s stuck on iPadOS 17! I also have a 6th Gen iPad Mini that is my main iPad. 14in MBP for everything else.

I'm actually kinda glad the 2017 Pro (A10X/4GB) is stuck on 17 as it still runs decently.

The iPad 7th gen (A10/3GB) is just so darned slow on 18. I know the 7th gen is weaker than the 2017 Pro but it doesn't seem like the Pro would fare much better.

We have an M1 iPad Pro 12.9 and an M4 iPad Pro 13. Im on my second M1 Pro as the first had a dark spot on the screen now the replacement has the same spot. It's something internal pressing the backlight. No issues with the M4 yet so not replacing it anytime soon. Might ditch the M1 though and get a new iPad Pro and give the Missus the M4. will wait and see what Apple release. Won't go to any non FaceID device though.

Not going to upgrade the Mini until it’s thinner with OLED. Will probably replace my old 10.5in Pro with a M5 11in Pro with NanoTexture (hopefully that option sticks around).

Waiting for 11" iPad Pro M5. Hoping the OLED screen is even better than current generation.
That is crazy to think right now the tandem OLED on my M4 iPad Pro 13 inch is absolutely amazing. I don’t think there’s any OLED panel out there better than it but I guess we’ll have to see what Apple does. I upgraded from the M1 iPad Pro because my logic board was going out I really didn’t have a choice. I wasn’t gonna pay for a refurbished M1 if I could get a brand new M4

Still on my iPad Pro M1 11" with a magic keyboard. Since I only use it to consume websites and videos or check my mail I am still totally happy with it.
