I went up to jailbroken 1.1.3 but it was rubbish because the apps I use didn't work so now i'm back on jailbroken 1.1.2

Clean 1.1.3

I thought about jailbreaking but I'm hoping to get some good devolpments once the SDK gets released. I rather keep things on the up and up and not risk bricking my phone or breaking warrenty and have something happen to it.

Clean 1.1.3 here...

Anxious to see what is in the SDk though...

I'm more interested in more phone/txt features than additional apps right now...

i was on 1.1.2, then i jailbroke it to see what all the fuss was about
installed lots and lots of apps, but each one, i messed around with for a minute or two and then didn't use it again
so when 1.1.3 came out, i wiped them all off the iphone and installed 1.1.3

the only thing i miss is using Summerboard to put wallpaper behind the icons on the homescreen. oh, and being able to mount the disk on the Finder desktop and change the dialtones to spoken words when i'm dialling a phonenumber

both of these i expect someone will produce an SDK-compatible version so i'm happy to wait until after that is available.

while the amount of thirdparty apps that are available already is impressive, and kudos to all those guys and gals that have been developing them all these months, to be honest, there aren't really very many that are very useful. and i didn't find any that were enough to stop me from upgrading

I'm on jailbroken 1.1.3 but with the new baseband, so I have all 1.1.3 functionality and my extra games!

Can't believe there are no official games for the iPhone, even the Nano has great games on it. I am sure Apple will be adding this shortly.

If the next update brings enough extra features, I won't mind if Jailbreaking is not an option.

Hi evryone, my first post here.:)

back to 1.1.2 Jailbroke, waiting for apps to catch up to 1.1.3.

Why is "None of the above" an option if all of the OSes are covered?

1.0.2 or earlier to 1.1.3....is 1.1.4 already in beta, are people not reading the options right, or am I just confused???

Jailbroken OTB 1.1.2 (I have a week 46 iPhone).

I'm tempted to jailbreak to 1.1.3, but I've read too many horror stories to try it just yet.

Still on 1.1.1 jailbroken. I haven't been paying the closest attention, but seems like upgrading to any of the newer options was a lot more work than the jailbreakme.com method.

Clean 1.1.3. I'm a firm believer in 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I can wait a short time for official 3rd party app support, it's not like I really need it all that badly.

too comfortable on 1.1.1

Everything is nicely setup on my 1.1.1 jailbroken phone - so there will have to be a really convincing new feature to get me to move.

i use books and lighttpd to read long articles, books and pdfs - have an automatic script to copy them with scp from a folder on my desktop.

locateme does a decent job of jump starting google maps with my current location.

i can modify the summerboard to my heart's content.

i use vnc to connect to my laptop to control itunes when i am lounging in the other room.

i have a bunch of other apps that i use occasionally - but i enjoy having the option (advanced calculators, voice notes, dictionaries in spanish and french, the rainbow light for the occasional flashlight). and then there are the games - i'm not a big gamer, but i love having backgammon, othello, go, chess available even if i am on the subway. labyrinth reproduces my favorite game when i was a kid. and i have become a total fan of EvolutionRGB.

oh, and did i mention how much fun it is to be able to draw little sketches . . .

so, it could be a while before i go through the hassle of upgrading. and, so far, the reviews seem quite mixed about the reliability of upgrading to a jailbroken 1.1.3.

I jailbroke my 1.1.3. I would have held out until the next update or some apps with the SDK started coming out, but there were just too many cool things added in 1.1.3. I'm all about eye candy, and I can't get enough of the new Maps app; especially when you can peel back the screen. And web clips are so fun to move around for no reason.
