what if they make it smaller and put a touch screen home button on there idevices. maybe one the user could customize with a color?

I'm guessing it's an extremely thin iPod Shuffle. A little bit of a screen would be a nice addition.

This is my guess :3

LOL THAT'S THE DUMBEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD.

LOL That's actually ignorant. And before you get all worked up, ignorant means uninformed.

*Dumb* means "lacking the power of speech" so it'd be pretty effing hard for that comment to be the "dumbest" thing you've ever *heard*.

Try a little less offense next time please!

It's gotta be a shuffle, take a look at this mock up someone from Giz made. I think it will only show the album art and an overlay of shuffle controls but that's it. Imagine browsing the internet on that thing?!

Whatever it's going to be implemented as (if it's even MEANT to be implemented) I'm pretty sure Apple will not apply the screen into anything that is bigger than the screen itself. Going by Apple's past and present use of "non-tacky" design, they are not going to produce a screen with rounded edges if they were not going to take artful advantage of them.

If you notice, all screens that share this design have covered the entire surface plane where they were used. They are not going to tack this onto the back of an iPhone or MBP because it would look... TACKED on.

Therefore, the remote, the watch and the shuffle seem to be the most viable products that have been hypothesized here. But even then, you have battery power to worry about. It'd be a pain in the ass to have to remember to plug in my watch every night (as well as everything else!) The remote however may go under the knife and get rechargeable batteries instead and possibly even use the iPods connector to recharge, and update the TVguide within the remote.

3cm is roughly 1.2 inches. Meters to inches. I'm hoping for a watch that has a flexible display (our wrists aren't exactly flat and level) and powered by body heat and/or inertia.

Yep... I get the feeling LOTS of people posting here don't understand this is reported to be 3CM x 3CM which is frankly too small to be truly useful... That is until Apple shows off a new product using it.. :D

The iWatch is finnaly here!

You know what's funny? You might actually be right. I remember I had a watch by the company fossil, years ago. It attempted to do a lot of what the iphone now does but very very poorly and no color. It had the creamed spinach feel lol. If Apple did this, fugettaboutit . . I'd be the first on line. :D

There is a market for the 7" Tablet device, so I believe is going after that market as well. It's too big for an iPod. Or maybe you can use it as a digital clock like Flavor Flav.

Video implant. Fits outside the back of your head allowing passersbyers to see what you are thinking. The name, of course:

iMindyourownbussiness

:p:p:p:p:cool:

It can be a watch but not a regular one. May be some kind of athletic pedometer/stopwatch or something to work in conjunction with that stuff from nike. The kind of display you see on a treadmill (heartbeats, miles walked, walking time, etc.)...
