Pure is the only one I've had and don't plan in ever having another one. It is truly amazing.

well i just ordered the Glass tr from Amazon with 2 day shipping... They both seem similar in strength and scratch resistant..

Looking forward to this... I'll probably get one for my future ipad.. So glad i found this

Can't loose with either. SwitchEasy Pure is thin, looks like glass but has a very slight streaky feeling. GLAS.t is glass, oleophobic but a little thicker.

Think it's where you turn on the shower in a bathroom to get some steam in the air. The moisture keeps dust and particles from floating around while trying to install the screen protector.

I do this all the time. Not sure if it works or it's a placebo effect, but I feel better doing this. :D

Back to topic though. I just received my pack of SGP Ultra Optics screen protectors. Definitely my favorite so far out of anything I've tried. My 4s I used anti-glare Power Support but had to deal with the decreased clarity of the retina display. I got the 5 and ordered the Oleophobic SGP before the Ultra Optics was released and it was good. The clarity was not affected at all, however the oleophobic layer wore off after a week or two and it attracted oil like crazy. I missed the anti-fingerprint aspect of the Power Support I used to use, but didn't want to sacrifice the beautiful retina display. Applied my Ultra Optics today and it really is best of both worlds. I can't really tell all that much any sort of decrease in clarity and it repels fingerprints/oil a lot better than the Oleophobic or Cyrstal would. And people usually note the "zip" vinyl noise running your finger across it, but I actually like that. Don't know why but I do. But this protector is by far my favorite I've had and will be ordering more to keep just in case.

aren't they all the same thing interms of ghost armor zagg etc.

I have ghost armor installed on all my iToys but only because there is a kiosk near me and they do a "professional" job at installing it. If they had had a zagg or other I prob. would go with that....

None. The screen protector is built in to the scratch proof glass.

Ok first off the screen is scratch resistant not scratch proof. Secondly, the question proposed on this thread is very subjective. It really depends on what you are looking for in your screen protector. I'd go with something like zagg if you are looking for a screen protector is scratch proof and will give you some glass overall fall protection. However, for clarity and minimalism I'd go with something like SGP. Really just depends on what you want.

Zagg really isn't scratch proof. I had Zagg on my Razr and it was very scratched up and all used was a MF towel to clean it.. wasted $25 IMO

The Glas.tr is indeed the best screen protector i've ever used/owned... I was told i didn't need it since the iphone has Gorilla glass but wanted the added protection..

It feels great on the fingers and is always shiny.. hardly any fingerprints and looks great on the phone..

Definitely getting one for my future ipad... :D

I had several Glas-t's on my 4s. Always had some kind of adhesion problem, mostly around the edges. Other than that they were awesome. Much better feel than any plastic protector (SGP, Power Support).

Found the Bodyguardz 50% off code thread and ordered a Pure for the 5. Much improved on the Glas-t. Slightly thinner (not half as thin) and great adhesion. Plus with the $13 replacement deal, definitely beats the Spigen.

Added the Phantom Skinz Matte back and sides. Closest thing to naked you could imagine.

Love the Pure and PS Matte!!

i looked for the code for the bodyguardz but couldn't find one.. So far no adhesion problems and this one has the rounded edges.. I'll be getting one for the ipad as well.. my installation was damn near perfect.. no overlapping..

after i wiped the screen down before installation i used a can of air a few times to prevent dust.. Worked out great

Almost feels better than the actual phone glass itself.. :D

I've tried both the SGP Glas.t.r and the BG Pure. In my opinion they both have the same feel and no loss of clarity. I like the Pure much better as it is thinner and doesn't cause such a deep recess for the home button and the installation was much more forgiving than the SGP.

i thought they are both 0.4mm thick? both are great IMO...

You know the specs both list them at the same thickness but from handling them both and having them both on my phone, the BG Pure sure seems much thinner. It is more flexible and I was able to flex it off and on the phone twice to get a perfect installation. The SGP seemed much thicker with hardly any flex. Also the difference in the home button feel made me need one of the little sticker buttons with the SGP, whereas I don't even notice any recess with the Pure. Maybe they really are the exact same thickness but the Pure totally feels slimmer and more svelte.

your right there was no flex in the Glas.tr... still i'm very happy... I may the BG in the future..
