I glue my iPhone 4 to the back of the iPhone 5.

The iPhone 5 is so similar people might confuse it for a 4 or 4S - this way everybody can see I have the latest tech and enough money to even keep the old one.

It also give the newly created superphone the weight that screams quality and which the iPhone 5 is now missing.

Or maybe I use a hinge so I can open it to have a 7.5" multitouch/multitasking screen in total.

My wife is having my 4S
Her dad will have her 4

Although it will likely be closer to Christmas time by the time I get the 5

Well, my old phone is an LG Cosmos slider phone that i have been nursing until I get my hands on the ip5. (battery barely holds a charge, most of the buttons on the slider don't work, screen scratched to all hell).

So, when I get myip5 this Friday I am going to take it outside and beat it with a bat, ala Office Space style.

Give my 4 to my ex-wife, who will in turn hand down her 3gs down to our daughter. Considering my daughter hasn't had a cell before, and she's cursing (figuratively) her 2nd generation iPod touch that she can't upgrade to iOS 4.3 which the new Facebook requires, this should all work out fine. :)

I'm giving my 4S to my wife. She has a 4 that I will clean up and put back in the original box as a spare. If my daughter was old enough she'd get the 4.

I could have gotten more money on eBay but I went with Gazelle and $265 per phone (My wife's and mine). eBay is too much of a hassle now.

In the future, knowing that your price on Gazelle is locked in for 30 days I will sell it on there at the earliest time possible to get more money.

I am upgrading to two new phones and its costing $5 each... We're hoping to try and get the upgrade fees back which would made that -$31 each... Getting paid to upgrade would be nice.

My iPhone 4 16GB is two years old, so not worth much in Australia. Therefore, I will be giving it to my son who is turning four next week (I will probably give it to him on his birthday as a 'bonus'). Of course, he will not be making 'voice' phone calls, just doing facetime to family members etc.

He already has an Apple TV2, a 64GB iPad 2 and a 4th Gen iPod Touch so I know he will do his best look after it - BUT, still going to buy an Otterbox Defender for it.

I will donate his iPod Touch to a child via a charity through our local community as he does not need both. Only reason for me giving him the iPhone is because he iPod Touch is only 8GB (which is full) and it saves me upgrading to a new iPod Touch for him.

Passing my 2 Year Old 4 along to my GF, her camera wasn't set all the way into the phone so the lens sits high than the back glass surface, as a result it is scratched... Like someone took steel wool to the lens! and the glass surface is untouched. Weird.

One 4S as gift, One 4S on eBay.

I have AppleCare+, Speck Candy Shell & ZAGG Invisible Shield on both 4S. It is better to gift than sell on eBay as it is difficult to recoup add on cost.

As I am 100% positive of upgrading to next iPhone, I am not getting AppleCare or even expensive case.

Since the new one is coming and most people got the iphone5 and a lot more are getting them, what are guys going to do with your old iPhones?

Keep it?

Gift it?

Put it in the drawer?

Sell it?

I sold both of my iPhone 4's already. Thought i wouldn't get much due to them being 2 gen's back and my 32 gigger had the front screen cracked. To my luck i sold both for $400. Free iPhone 5's!

Keeping my old iPhone 4 for a couple of reasons:

1) I dropped it a couple of months back and put some cracks in the face, nothing on the screen, but I know that the resale value is destroyed because of it.

2) At least until I can get an armband case for my iPhone 5 I will still be using it for GPS for RunKeeper and Zombies! Run.

I suppose after a bit I may stash it in my car as a dedicated GPS to run Navigon, assuming that I don't just love the turn by turn on the new Maps and want to use my iPhone 5 for navigation all the time.

Handing down the 4S to my daughter, keeping her unlocked 4 as a spare and as a world phone.

Giving my 32GB 4s to my Girlfriend and and used her IPhone 4 8gb for Sprints buy back offsetting the cost of my 32gb Iphone 5 to $160

I'll be keeping my iPhone 4 and playing around with jailbreaking. It's always something I've wanted to try but have been too chicken. If I like it, then I just might do the same to the 5 some day!

I'm gonna have AT&T unlock it and then I guess I'll keep it for traveling outside of the country, since my iPhone 5 will still be tied to AT&T.

My 16gb iPhone 4 is going to my mom. It's time that she get introduced to smart phones and what better way to do it? It works great and I've only had it for about a year and half. Looking forward to my 5.
