For those with heavy usage, what exactly are you using it for?

I felt like I was really using my data but at only 110 MB currently, I realize i'm not.

I was on wifi very infrequently. Surfing, Facebook, streaming the World Cup today, testing out the Hulu app, Youtube. Nothing major.

1 million.

Why do people always ask questions like this? What good is this random info to anyone? You may as well just start a thread entitled "post a random number here!".

My whole goal was to see if mine was dramatically higher than everyone elses but I realized it was about the same.

Also noted that about a week ago I factory restored my phone to test the "fix" for the proximity sensor. (Lot of good that did) Before then I was well over 2.5GB received.

I wonder why I'm still on the unlimited data plan...

(I use Wi-Fi at home and at work...)

I wish I had unlimited so I could use Pandora more and do all the other streaming and browsing that I do without worrying about going over. This is my first iPhone so I got screwed only being able to get the 2gb plan.

177.91 MB with 2 days left of the billing cycle.

That's probably only a lot 'cause I was using it a lot during vacation.

I've sent 360 MB and received 700 MB since I got my iPhone 4 on the 23rd. A lot of it has been the last few days using the "Knocking Live Video" app for video chatting over 3G. I am on the unlimited plan

New to iPhone and AT&T. Got it on launch day and have about 2 weeks left in my billing cycle. Am on wifi at home and work.

I put myself on the 200 MB because I figured with that much wifi access I could get away with it, and it seems that's the case. BUT, I really wish I could do unlimited, because I hate having to constantly watch and wonder. My wife is on the same plan, but some Hangman app she downloaded was using over 20 MB a day for a few days when she was away from wifi (it seems to connect to the Internet to get words), so we've removed it for now.

Looks like it will be easy for me to stay under my 200mb per month allotment.

I have unlimited and haven't reset the statistics yet...

I use wireless at home, work, and at my girlfriends house. Also, got my iPhone 4 first day in the morning!

Well, hey, if you're always close to 200 MB then just get the 2 GB plan. That'd pretty much be "unlimited" for you. I can't imagine you'd come close if 200 MB is your normal baseline.

Once I get my iPhone 4 I'll probably keep my account at Unlimited for a few months and monitor my usage. I just checked my account and I'm averaging just above 250MB a month. Not much at all...

It's just hard to say what I would do if I had unlimited. I'd free myself up to have all kinds of fun wherever I went, that's for sure. For example, I might consider getting a Sirius subscription and streaming that in the car. I suspect that would eat through 2 GB fast.
