Whether it's music or a TV show. Me? I typically listen to Rock/Rap but I'm not gonna lie I have "Circus" and "Womanizer" in my library. One of my friends who was an OLB on our high school football team and you would have never known but he was OBSESSED with iCarly and bought all of it and had it on his iPod 😛 Some of you not-so-young folks may not know what that is but it's a "children's" show on TV that you just wouldn't expect a 19 year old football-playing male to watch, haha.

Also, can someone please tell me why everytime I go to edit a post now, it says I do not have permission to do this and then acts as if I logged out, then I have to log back in and if I try to edit again it does it once more. It's a never ending cycle.

Probably a couple Backstreet Boys/Britney Spears songs I have on there for an early 00s playlist...

"Let Me Borrow That Top" by Kelly. My wife put it on there as a joke, and I almost never sync my nano that's in my car and it comes up all the time on shuffle. I actually think the song is funny as ****.

Wow...that is a bizarre song.

I have a running joke with my girlfriend that there's a gay dance club in my iPod.

Tends to happen when you listen to a wide variety of stuff, including sniffies and Roisin Murphy.

#1. Ace of Base - The Sign

Lots of history in that song though.

A distant number two would be Frozen by Madonna. I wouldn't really say I'm embarrassed by it but it IS about as different from my normal music as it's going to get.

Candy Girl by the Jackson 5.... that isn't that embarrassing but the fact that I sing it out loud no matter where I am when it comes on is.... 😀

As a once delighted resident of the 90's I have a sense of the difference between "gay" and "club" music. You see, in the 90's many things that would be considered to be of the "gay" subculture today, were mainstream and completely acceptable at the time.

That being said:

Ace of Base
Alice Deejay - Better off alone
Brandy
David Bowie (Most embarrassed to have his 90's work. At least he didn't change his name to just "BOWIE" ffs.)
Donna Lewis - I love you always forever
Haddaway - What is love
J.J. Fad - Supersonic (I'm not the only one that knows it's the source of Fergalicious)
Jennifer Lopez- Waiting for tonight
Lisa Lisa (I feel I AM the only one that knows she's the source of everything else Fergie does)
alisa.jpg

N2Deep (Both members killed by a single shot when a flintlock pistol backfired)
Selena - Dreaming of you
The Stylistics- I'm stone in love with you
Winger (ONE song I swear!)

I don't know about that, how many people would say "damn, that guy's major bad to the max" while listening to Barbie Girl?

Taylor Swift - White horse

My sister put it in my itunes and I never got round to deleting it! true!

Alice Deejay - Better off alone

YOU SHOULDN'T BE EMBARRASSED FOR HAVING ALICE DEEJAY! That group was the BOMB back then. And still is. 😀

Anyways, for me, my most embarrassing song is Mandy by the Jonas Brothers. 😱 BUT IT WAS BEFORE WHEN THEY WEREN'T AS FAMOUS AND ACTUALLY GOOD.

I have Gustav Holst's 'The Planets' suite on my iPod... it's brilliant, but slightly embarrassing when the iPod is on shuffle... (can I just point out I don't use an iPod, I use my phone, i'm still allowed to participate in this thread right!? 😱)

My iPod Classic itself. With no camera or any novelty found on the iPod touch and Nano, it's the most embarrassing iPod ever.

😱

Nah, maybe having Britney Spears's "3" on my iPod's most played playlist?
