What is Normal Battery Life for iPhone 4s

I could of easily got 7-8 hours usage without having it in standby for so long.

Yes; standby's a bit of a flop when it comes to battery life on the 4S. It was just another reason for me to wait til the 6th iPhone offering. I mean, everything improves with each iteration. Everything. Oh, wait...battery life gets worse! That was a big minus.

Hey, I just got the iPhone 4S, here are my stats

At 29% battery left I have

Usage: 3 hours, 25 minutes
Standby: 6 hours, 42 minutes

Seems way worse then anyone else on here and it's a brand new phone!!! Does the battery get better as you use it more or does my phone have a problem? Help me! I am new to iphone and so far am very disappointed having to charge it like twice a day.

Mine is 6-7 hours for usage and about two days standby.

If it is brand new, it will take a week or two to calibrate depending on usage etc.

What iOS is it running? 6 or 7?

Is it updated?

The 4S should be getting a bit better than that, but it depends on the usage really.
