You know what I mean. Stop being such a smartass.
well i don't see the point either.

I am thinking to switch to i os from android so i thought it was best place for my question coz lot of apple user here.share your views about it .i need to know about all cons and pros about it
rubbish.
apps in the play store and amazon store are scanned by the respective host and are not "malware".
you'll only find malware if you choose to sideload (pirated) apps from dodgy internet sources; same as you could with your PC or Mac.
i really do admire apple at how they've managed to maintain such tight control over what people can do with their phones and get them to praise them for it... still.
Far from the truth. Any app can be put into the play store and many are infected. After owning half a dozen or more android phones, the iPhone is a relief to me. Plus working for government and banking industry companies that require high security, android phones are not allowed due to their security issues. Only blackberry and ios devices which at my current company are now the standard phone.
If you cannot see the benefits of the iPhone it is too superior for you so stay with the copies.![]()
As someone who used both iOS and Android, I can say that iPhone is far superior. Here's why:
- AppStore and accesories. I think the main point of having a smartphone is accesories adn apps. You can do almost anything thing with them. And most accesories are made for iPhone and except super-common apps like FaceBook and Twitter, most great apps are only available on AppStore. Play Store was bad to me, apps were poorly designed, they crashed too much and there were really few Android accesories. I think that makes iPhone more capable
- iPhone can be customised a lot more. Believe or not, when you jailbreak it, Cydia has much more tweaks than Android. Yup, Android is far more customisable than an iPhone but a jailbroken iPhone is far more customisable than an Android.
- I like Apple's Quality. They don't use marketing gimmicks like ppi over display quality, megapixels over camera quality etc. iPhone is also beautifully designed in my opinion
- I like UI of iOS. It's a lot simplier. There is only app icons so navigating around phone are very easy you don't even realise you are switching apps.
- When you get an iPhone you get Apple apps, Google apps and MS apps. But when you get an Android you only get Google apps.
- I like Apple's ecosystem. Everything works so seamlessly such as AirPlay, iTunes etc.
- Direct updates. You don't need to wait for months to get an update on an iPhone and Apple provides more updates. iPhone 4 which is a 4-year-old phone is still getting updates. (You can skip it if you are intereted in Nexus)
- Better resale value
Only pro of Android I can see is price. You can get a cheaper Android phone but you can't get a cheap iPhone. Other than that iPhone is a lot better
No. Get over yourself. My phone has never gotten malware or anything like that.

Oh really, so what if I did have an iPhone and didn't like it?
Just like they make tons for Windows and yet there are still plenty of people out there who have been using windows for ages and never got into any trouble (some even without even basic anti-virus/malware stuff, while others with that, which doesn't really affect them in any bad or even noticeable way by having and using it).Wow really? So must be strange they make all these Anti Malware apps for a reason on the Android phones. You may have one and don't even know it like most non-technical people.![]()

Seems like you are pretty ignorant about android. Stock Android is more capable than a jailbroken iphone. The basic core of ios is much lacking so even jailbreak won't help.
If you said app quality referred to how the UI itself looked then maybe. As the ios core only has a subset of Android capability most android equivalent apps are usually more powerful. This include sharing, intent and event driven capability, background processing and cooperative multitasking.
Iphone icon based UI maybe easier for the novice. Then again it is so boring compared to what android launcher can have. If you like looking at grid of icons day in day out then you will feel at home with ios.
Ah... updates. Nowaday most core apps are delinked from android and can be updated by themselves without doing a firmware update. This us better as apps can be updated quickly. So it really is a non issue. For example for iPhone to get a camera software update you have to wait forever. Google camera app is now in Playstore which can timely update.
Playstore imo is still better because of Web interface. Both platforms app store have far too many apps to make comparison moot. You can most probably find any iPhone equivalent or similar apps in android. However there are many type of apps in different application areas that can never be found in iPhone due to the restrictive and limited ios capability.

Capable and better are different. For my reasons an iPhone is better than any android even though an android is more capable.
I am saying even factoring your personal reasons it is still wrong to say a jailbroken iphone is more customisable than android. You can say the world is square but that doesn't mean it has some chance of it being correct even though you wholeheartedly believe that.
The advantage for me and only reason I stay with the iPhone is Apples ecosystem (see sig). That applies to my devices and friends and families devices who the majority use iOS devices.
I'm come to rely on the ease of syncing between devices as most services just do it (notes, reminders, contacts, etc). And the ease of transition between devices, for example the contact, notes, reminders apps on iOS and OSX.
AirPlay is important to me too.
I don't have a problem with Android though. I enjoy all tech.

lol you never did jailbreak your iphone have you?
nor did you ever own an android phone.
its alright we we all expect bias in this site.. sometimes it just too obvious though![]()
whatever makes you sleep better at night mate.
android (the latest/recent versions of the past couple of years) per se is not an unsafe OS. its opened and flexible design which gives more power to the user to do more makes it by nature more susceptible to reports of attacks and malware because people use it recklessly and disable basic security features in the process.
with a little common sense, however, its as safe as any modern OS.
