I have a work MBP with a keyboard issue. Needs the top cover replaced. Apple Store said it had to be shipped out for repair. Would take 14 days. They did not want to preorder the parts so they could do the repair at the store in one day. I’ll take it in when I go on vacation and can spare 14 days for this.

It was not like that. They pre-ordered parts for me 10 years ago. Hope this is not how they do things under TC.

I dropped off my MacBook pro on Nov 7 at my apple store. Its now November 24th and they are still "working on it"....
And the apple support specialist is as useless as a ketchup popsicle. (name that movie)

Usually 3 days for me (New York City) and this for the top case, battery, keyboard replacement. And this was twice!

I used to buy MBP due to its excellent state of the art hardware, hardware compatibility with Linux and nvidia, MacOS and services. Now it seems that there is nothing good about the Mac anymore.

For those wondering it finally shipped out. I should get it back tomorrow or Tuesday... - i'm hoping
