I've recently bought an iPad Air 4th generation to replace my iPad Air 2. My new iPad is slightly heavier than the old one but it seems much heavier because I bought a silicone gel back cover to protect it and that's really heavy - 105 grammes/ almost 4 ounces! Anyone got any suggestions for a really light back cover for an iPad Air 4?

Hello! I don't have your model, so I can't help you.
I had until yesterday a silicone gel back cover, and it was fine to protect the iPad 9. When I took it off, I felt the extra weight.
There are skins or hydrogen foils to cover your iPad, if it fits your needs.

DBrand do a bunch of skins for it. I’ve had one on mine for about 4 years and it’s done a great job

Hi there. Just bought a skin and it's great. Much lighter than a heavy silicone cover. I also ditched the tempered glass screen protector for a more flimsy cellphone one. Together, they made my iPad more than four ounces lighter!
