On iPhone My main ringtone is from a Swedish Police show called 'Wallendar'

The main police officer in the show has a unique ringtone on his mobile phone which I've borrowed.

My incoming text messages sound is the sound made in the TVs show Law and Order when one scene moves to another.

My alarm is the fire engine sound made by the Minions.

On my iPad I use several spoken alerts via Jarvis from IronMan.

I would use a custom ringtone from the iTunes Store, but I don't want to lose $1.29 every time I restore my phone

I used to have the Star Trek TNG theme as my ringtone but got tired buying it over and over when I wiped my phone so I used a default ringtone for awhile then broke down and bought the Munster's theme song (season 1) - been my ring tone for awhile now.

For my ringtone I use the 11th Doctor's theme from Doctor Who. And for texting, it's "you have a new message at your private terminal" from Mass Effect 2.

"Old Phone" from the "classic ringtones" section. Always.
That was my go-to for a while, until too many people around me were using it as well, which made it a bit harder to quickly tell if my phone was ringing or perhaps that of someone else.

I think at one point I was using the Cisco business phone tone too (kind of like the one int CTU in 24)...maybe I should get back to that one.

I use the Rocket League intro song from the Rumble update, because I can.
Notification sound for now is the PS1 startup sound, and email is the Mac startup tone.

Previously it was Casino Night Zone - 2 Player from Sonic 2, and Tiger-Heli's soundtrack before that. My stuff is usually retro game based and has been for years. N64, NES, SNES, Genesis, PS1, arcade, you name it.
