Runs cooler.

Entirely waterproof.

That would wow me.

Didn't iOS7 make the iPhone waterproof? Wouldn't be surprised if they port over the software from the phone to the laptop. Maybe they need to put a extra app or something.

Instant availability and 24 hour shipping would be nice and certainly "wow" me :D

Ok it's a little offtopic. :p

17" MacBook Air! If it weighed something like 3.5lbs I'd buy one. Totally.

That or they could just up the ante and make a 17" MacBook Pro Retina with dual SLI or something, or a quadro gpu and xeon? That'd be very interesting.

17" retina 3840 x 2160 screen with anti-glare option.
Quad i7 as standard.
256Gb PCIe SSD standard.
User upgradable RAM to 16 or even 32Gb
User upgradable 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s bay for additional SSD.
Thunderbolt 2
USB 3.0

I love all the idiots who fell for the iOS7 waterproof hoax. They're too stupid to have such an expensive device. They should be limited to owning only a 1980s calculator or 2 empty cans with string in between for communication :D

The classic MBP line updated with pure Haswell and Iris Pro for $1499. Ain't gonna happen though

Wish list for the 13":

  • User-replaceable PCIe SSD
  • 16GB RAM
  • Better than Iris as a GPU, even Iris Pro would be amazing although an nVidia chip would be even more amazing and definitely "wow" -factor
  • Thunderbold 2
  • USB 3.1 (Is this released yet??)
  • Even with the modifications above, manage to have better batterylife
  • Even with the modifications above, become cheaper

13" wishes

16gb ram
quad core (not a deal breaker)
10+ hr battery (assuming its going to be 12-14hr)
HD5000
For apple to put in the cleaning cloths in the box's again.

Higher resolution screens... IGZO or not, I would really love to see a 2880x1800 screen on the 13". It really shouldn't have a smaller "native" resolution than the MBA. I don't expect it, hence why I'll be wowed if it happens.
