$25 gift card to Cold Stone Creamery, which is a place I haven't been to in at least ten years, and don't have any interest in visiting anytime soon. A total non-sequitur. I always appreciate the thought, though

Hands down this is the best worst gift...
My dog ate 1/2 a platter of chocolate covered peanut butter balls right before we were leaving to go to my aunt and uncles house. My mom locked my dog in the bathroom so if she was sick it would be *easy* to clean up...
If you dare look...

Perhaps you should just be happy that your dog didn't have a more severe reaction to the chocolate covering the peanut butter. Sure, most dogs just throw up, and it doesn't bother them THAT much, but some dogs die.
It's time to appreciate the fact your dog DID throw up and you didn't come home to a dead dog.
Sheesh. More cheery damn it!
Now go scramble some eggs for your doggy and be happy (this is easier on his tummy then dog food for the next few days)
No complaints here. I got an HV20!
But this thread makes me feel bad for some reason.
So, um, I have a slightly different spin on the idea of the "worst gift" this year. I really do love all the gifts I received this year. I mean, honestly love not "Why, YES, of COURSE I love moldy brusselsprouts" kind of love.Opening the gifts- cringing inside, fake smile cracking face, disbelief floating through mind.
What present did you get this year that you could have done without?
Yep, Chocolate + Dog = Very Bad Thing. You might be able to back me up but I think it's the theobromine in chocolate that is toxic to dogs.
I think your right.
My Golden Retriever shut himself in the back bedroom (where the computers are) and got into a tin of Quality Street.Fortunately for him there's not much chocolate in most British "chocolate".
Yup. I loved everything I got, and I think I'd feel like jerk to pick out less than useful gifts for any reason. Any gift given out of love is a gift I appreciated. No complaints here. I got an HV20!

Although a dead dog is easier to clean up, if it's still freshly dead at least....It's time to appreciate the fact your dog DID throw up and you didn't come home to a dead dog....
Ouch--Merry Christmas indeed! Sorry to hear that, man. Keep your pecker up
