When I attempt to copy some video files to my external hard drive, connected by USB, I am getting the following pop up....



Is there a known cause for this??

Hi,

Is the file larger than 4GB and the file system of the ext. HD FAT32? If yes then you need to use another filesystem for the ext. HD (e.g. exFAT).

It could be anything from faulty drive to faulty USB port. But most of the time, the drive draws too much power and switch off.

Thanks all, but I got it to work correctly FINALLY....
Never did figure out what was happening truthfully, but it did work right, after a reboot!!
