It occurred when I was on Macrumors.

no clue. could be a bad ad? I'd say don't allow if it happens again.

This isn't limited to MacRumors. I get this prompt from various websites every now and then. More than likely it's some underlying advertisement.

I've never seen that at any time on any of my machines. One really needs to be careful when on the internet, as some sites one visits may give you an unexpected "gift" of malware or viruses.

Clix Pix already knows this, but I just installed Malwarebytes and ran it. I had six infections. She gave me the idea where they could have come from. Luckily, I stopped using that website. I used it solely to keep up with upcoming iPhone talk. (I just come here now.)

When in doubt, never ever click yes on any pop up. Better to click no and then ask for advice on the forum, than click yes and cause yourself problems with Malware.

I didn't click on anything. I just took a screenshot to post here. To be double-y sure I am not re-infected. I'm going to run it again before I shut off my MBA and make a habit of running Malaware bytes every night before I shut off my MBA. I wish I had this app installed the day I got it. I had it on my MBP(s).
