What is up with the 15 hires glossy? Has ANY ONE gotten one

Mine is still not yet shipped and has not prepared for shipment.

So there is something up at least with my order. It says it is to be delivered by the 23rd. So with 2-3 day shipping it should have at least prepared for shipment by now.

I ordered the 15 hires glossy and the order is not moving anywhere.

It should have prepared to ship yet nothing.

That and the fact that no one here has seen one gives me doubts that they are shipping.

I also went to stores and none have them. All said bto. Strange because matte should be bto and glossy should be stocked.

I ordered a 15" Hi-Res Glossy on 4/14 and it was shipped on Friday. It should arrive by Thursday.

That looks like a 17 because of the large speaker grilles.

It could be the angle. OP does not specify if it is a 15 or a 17.

17" diagonal screen is 14.4375 inches wide. Divide that into 1920 and you get 133 ppi.

15.4" diagonal screen is 13.125 inches wide. Divide that into 1680 and you get 128 ppi.

Therefore, text and menus and objects will appear smaller on the 17" than on the 15.4" unless you adjust the size -- which is not option in all cases.
