  • Large market for programs and games.
  • Windows has easier to apply themes (although it's only marginally easier, since it's fairly easy to change a lot of the things in OSX anyway).
  • Available on more hardware (but Linux does this, too, so I think technically Linux is better at this than Windows and OSX).
  • Blu-Ray (solved in OSX with VLC/MakeMKV + external blu ray drive)

Would say networking, but I think Linux takes that one, too...

Other than that, I can't think of anything else. I use both OSes in different settings, but don't get how explorer is more powerful than finder (if someone wants to explain it in detail, please do :)).

Widows is better at maintaining/sustaining a huge network of people "needed" to support it.
Macs are better at keeping me happy, being able to run any software and virtual machines of anything I need to (Windows included).

As already said, Windows and other MS software dominate in the Enterprise environment. I work in IT for a large organisation and in my humble opinion their central network management and application deployment systems are way ahead of anything by Apple, its also backed up by a lot more major software vendors giving businesses more choice in how to implement their own IT systems.

Windows gaming wins hands down

It could be argued Windows has better legacy support than Mac OSX (for example, Lion won't let you run anything released pre-2006)

Dedicated software uninstallers are another thing i do miss about Windows, although thankfully we do have Appcleaner etc

Overall though i still prefer my Macs :D :apple:

Windows is better at running Qucken Home and Business. MacOS can't do that.

Windows is better at running DVD Profiler. No Mac version.

Windows is better at running my Escort Radar updater and Superchips updater software applications. No dice on Mac.

Windows is better at games, because most cool games come for Windows first, and many don't come for the Mac.

That's about it. Run Windows in Bootcamp and you've got the best of both worlds. :D
