Having tried it on my 4s numerous times, and seen how the development has progressed. I cant help but think this is the vista of apple.

many of the key design features and "magic" have been lost in an attempt to create something new.

firstly the emphasis of simplicity in functionality has become blurred with a notion of minimal graphics or layout instead.

Too many features and quick access shortcuts are going to alienate a large part of what appealed to many consumers .... simplicity.

Calendar is nasty.
Notes is nasty
To Do is an ergonomic nightmare.

I wont say its all bad as the music player is better.
As is some other areas.

But for me the line between ios and android is becoming ever more blurred. And it was always apples simplicity, logic and beauty that separated the 2.

While negative reaction may come quickly to those who see ios 7 and dislike it, we wont see sales effected until 12 months onwards. So any wrong path Apple tries to fix, we wont see for a good 2 years.

And that i am afraid is the decline.

Steve had a vision in which he helped transform the brand. And by taking this vision and picking specific designers and styles he was able to create (as a group) a product and brand that revolutionised the phone industry as well as many other products.

5/10
(not enough to update)
And considering alternatives to other hardware because of it.

If there were no glitches (can't count them as they'll probably be gone pretty soon) I'd say 8 out of 10. Gets better and better every iOS, but you always miss this or that.
