Going for the blue pro max this year. Last year had the Apple clear case for the 11, but found it too slippery so didn’t use it all too much. This years clear case I don’t care for the look of the MagSafe.

What has been your favorite non-yellowing, not too slippery and somewhat slim case?

Thanks!

I’ve used Totallee cases for the last three years. They’re great. Very soft but grippy and don’t yellow.

That being said, I feel like they’ve gotten a little too pricey ($35 + shipping) so I just ordered a Spigen case from Amazon at a third of the cost. I’ve never used any of their cases before but I know they’ve been around forever and have good reviews.

The kids and I have found Caudabe Lucid Clear to be optically clear and durable. They don’t yellow noticeably fast but they do get scratched up after awhile. They’re hard polycarbonate all around.
Really appreciate the feedback. I always go with a clear case and the Caudabe Lucid Clear is one I am seriously considering.

I found this old thread that has a lot of good info, but not all of the products listed have a 12 version out yet.

I tried the lucid clear on the iPhone X. It was really nice but ended up returning because it was too slippery for me.

For just scratch protection, nothing beats the Peel 'hard' clear cases for showing off the full glory of your iPhone. They aren't cheap but look for sales. Couldn't get any slimmer. They probably last about a year before they start to stretch and need to be replaced. But if you want a case to prevent scratches and not lose out on the beauty of the phone, there is nothing better IMO.

I ordered this one, i like the minimum profile and has enough protection with guaranteed not yellowing

I have this case for my 11 Pro Max right now and I’m happy with it. I just got the 12 Pro Max version in the mail.

I got this one too but looks like that product page for the 12 and 12 pro version has disappeared. Was debating this one vs. the Spigen

has anyone tried the peel “soft” case?

description says “Clear (Soft) is completely transparent, allowing the true color of your iPhone to shine through. The composition of the material is soft TPU and slightly thicker. Unlike our other cases, the device buttons are also covered.”

wondering how it compares to the “hard” case. Is it grippy?

It's TPU grippy. But at least with previous phones, a little thicker.

Am I seeing the MagSafe clear case correctly? Does it really have a white circle and short white line painted on the back? Is the to cover the magnet? Or is that the actual magnet? That's what keeps me from buying it.

Check out TORRAS on Amazon.

They 're pretty great, no yellowing and with awesome support.

Does Torras make a clear case? I am only seeing frosted and other colors.

Edit: scratch that comment. I missed that they have different models. One is clear.

But will MagSafe work with it? They make no mention on their website

I suspect that’s where the magnet is in the case as well as a guideline on where to place the MagSafe charger.

spigen hybrid on amazon usually under $15 but this year since apple didn't leave open bottom and supposedly fixed hard to press buttons I'll pinch my nose and pay that ridiculous amount of money. if its not any slimmer or better ill return for the hybrid

Totallee Clear Case for me every year. It's thin but still protective and doesn't yellow. Curious if it works with MagSafe. It just might because it's a bit thinner than other cases. If not, it's still a very good case.

I ordered the ESR Clear case with the metal kickstand for the Pro Max. With such a large screen it makes sense to have a means for propping it up to watch movies or make a FaceTime call. I also ordered their lens protectors. Thought I would give them a try.
