spigen hybrid on amazon usually under $15 but this year since apple didn't leave open bottom and supposedly fixed hard to press buttons I'll pinch my nose and pay that ridiculous amount of money. if its not any slimmer or better ill return for the hybrid

The Apple Clear Case is open at the bottom. The silicon cases are closed however.

I got my Apple iPhone 12 clear case today...its going back. Really hard, and slippery, no bueno. I was hoping it was going to be TPU, its not. $10 Amazon case it is then. I'm sure one with magnets will come out from a third party eventually.

I bought the cheapest Amazon case I could find. It's clear and about $6. I want an Apple leather case, or similar. This will hold me over while the good stuff propagates. Got it today. As basic as basic can be.

On my iPhone X I had Lucid Clear (good product but too slippery) and Spigen's Ultra Hybrid (great grip but turned yellow after a while). This year I'll go with Apple's clear case.

Just received the Totallee clear case. It's nice and thin, but way too slippery. Anyone know of one that won't let my phone slip all over a glass top nightstand?

It’s really a slippery devil. The buttons are hard to push through it. I’d gotten one for my 11 Pro through Amazon and it was so bad I thought it had to have been a counterfeit. Nevertheless I tried this one for the 12 Pro because I was excited about MagSafe and wanted a clear case that would work with it. Well this thing is a fingerprint magnet and slippery. But it’s okay for using around the house. I’ll be fine with it.

I was just talking about the Caudabe Lucid Clear on another discussion and how my wife loves it. I agree it's a great option. Doesn't yellow AFAIK.

They came out with a "Graphite" version of Lucid Clear that looks AMAZING on the Graphite 12 Pro. Wasn't sure if I'd like it or not, but it's stunning.

I've had the lucid clear on my iPhone XR since day one and it has not yellowed at all. My old Spigen soft clear case yellowed on my iPhone 6s Max. The soft cases have a tendency of being more durable but yellow over time while the harder cases are more susceptible to cracking at the corners and staying clear.

After a few days use, I'm really disappointed with the Apple clear case. :( It is very slippery but also quite bulky and the general impression is, well, quite horrible imho. But the worst is that it is very difficult to take off.. That's a no go for me as I switch cases regularly. Fortunately I have a silicone Prune case as well, so my iPhone doesn't need to go naked (even though it stays like that throughout the day when at home). I'm awaiting my Caudabe Sheath and might just go ahead and order a Lucid Clear as well.

Am I seeing the MagSafe clear case correctly? Does it really have a white circle and short white line painted on the back? Is the to cover the magnet? Or is that the actual magnet? That's what keeps me from buying it.
I have the Apple branded clear case for my Green iPhone 11. It’s great....grippy, minimalist design and most importantly shows the color of the iPhone. I’m with you...the circle that’s visible on the back of the new clear case kind of ruined what is otherwise a clean design. I’m not sure I would get Apple’s clear case for 12....and I wouldn’t want one of the silicon cases as they cover the color of the phone.....assuming you go for one of the colored phones.

Second this. I have always wanted to like clear cases because they show off details on the phone, but clear TPU/Polycarbonate cases always looked kind of cheap to me. The darker tint and hard plastic of the Lucid Clear Graphite produce a slightly more exclusive finish in my opinion. Especially when paired with my Graphite 12 Pro.

does anyone know if the lucid clear provides front protection. so if i place my 12 pro face down the front glass won’t touch the table?? i have the apple clear case but the buttons are so stiff. i like that the lucid clear has button cutouts and they claim it is easy to remove the case with their bottom cutouts. is this true?

I apologize if this has already been addressed. I am looking at the Apple clear silicone case on the Apple website. I have decided against getting the MagSafe charger. Does the clear case really have that circle on the back of it?

Yes it does. They are magnets.

Picked this up at Walmart today. Seems to have a fairly good grip and pretty minimalistic especially for an Otterbox brand. Has good camera protection and about the same screen protection as the Apple silicone. Im not sure I’ll be keeping it, but thought I would share in case others are still looking. They have them labeled as iPhone 2020 Large (12 Pro Max), Medium (12/12 Pro) and Small (12 Mini). It was $19.94.

The Apple clear is very slippery. Not sure how you can even use the case. Bummer. Mine will be going back too.
