I bought a few on amazon and sent all but this one back as the others were thicker than I wanted. I don’t have the 12 max yet so I can’t comment on how it fits. But it’s slimmest of the tpus I bought. Wondering how it compares to the totallee soft clear.

elago Clear Case Compatible with iPhone 12 Pro Max 6.7 inch, Shockproof Case, Scratch Resistant, Flexible, Screen & Camera Protection (Clear) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08G82ZGC6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_XDGMFbVQQ4B1W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

The ones I returned were the ringke fusion matte, spigen liquid crystal and torras crystal. I returned only because they were thicker than I wanted.

also ordered a switcheasy 0.35 and tozo ultra hard thin cover just to check those out. I have a feeling I might go with a skin this year like I used to on the 4/5. Or end up with the Apple silicone or leather if I can’t find a slim clear that I like.

Edited above.

That’s what I was afraid of, good thing it’s free returns then :) what do you think made it look cheap?

Got the Apple clear case in store and took it back today. Same reason as others, I have mild arthritis in my hands and don't trust a slippery case, they took it back no problem. I will get the Pro Gold one of these days, finish matches my gold SS watch, really good looking, hate to cover up the gold finish.

The dot grid on the back. Not clear enough

And the front has lip but barely and in a crappy way
I was wondering about that. Guess it will be going back as well. Have you tried the totallee soft clear? Wondering how that compares, or if it’s basically the same thing. I wonder if these tpu cases has a slightly darker tint if they would look better. One of my favorite cases was the anker karapax which they havent made since the iPhone X I think.

Haven’t tried totalee

After going through half a dozen clear cases that didn’t meet my satisfaction, I think I finally found the one.

It’s a hybrid with TPU sides and PC back. The TPU isn’t as flimsy as the Ringke Air I tried for a few days and the buttons are actually plastic so it gives you that nice “click” when you push them. I’m overall happy with this one and it will be the daily.

I got the Totallee clear case for the 12 Pro and think it is great. It is thin and form fitting. The buttons are slightly difficult to press but easier to press than the old Apple clear case I had for my 11 Pro. The case is not 100% clear, it has a dot pattern of sorts that are very tiny, but it actually makes the back look great. Overall I fully recommend.

I'll get an Apple Leather case when those come out Nov 6 and then switch between both every so often.

My Totallee clear for the 12PM arrived yesterday. Nice grip feel to it and not slick. It should work well.

Which color phone did you get?

It's the 12 PRO Totally Thin case a bit thicker than the one for the 11 PRO? The 11 Pro doesn't seem to have any edges at the front. The screen is flush with the case. The 12 PRO case has a bit of a lip.

Otterbox Pro Symmetry Series Clear Case. Not bulky but not thin either. Closed at the bottom and has a slight lip on the front to protect the screen. Buttons have a good feeling to them and the case is not slippery. A bit expensive but works well. Coming from an X iPhone I had the same case on that phone and Otterbox has done a good job in making the new case adhere to the new square sides of the 12.

For clear cases i usually buy the cheapest or close to it. I think i have bought a few JETech and they have done pretty well. The iPhone 12 max was under $8 CDN on amazon. I dont care for the thinnest as long as its protected. When more 3rd party magsafe clear cases come out i will consider those

My ultra hybrid came

Looks and feels much better than my elago

Way clearer too with a polycarbonate back and no dot matrix

The sides are flat so the power button is a bit springy and not as tactile as my blue silicone case but it’s not horrible or hard to push either

If the leather are nice when they come out I might buy one too for rotation and possibly call it a day if not get close to calling it. Alternatively mujjo leather look decent

Leather , silicone , and a clear sound like the perfect rotation

Not gonna buy a million cases this generation ... knock on wood

According to Peel, their 'hard' cases are polypropene plastic. Their 'soft' case uses TPU.

Is the hard one supposed to not yellow?

Maybe I’ll get this one down the road lol

But I’m happy with my ultra hybrid for $12
