1- Steak and Seafood

2- Steak

3- Seafood

4- Burgers

As far as chains go, I love me a nice Ruby Tuesdays over a Friday's, Applebee's, or the like. Nothing beats a great steak or a great steak and lobster though. Or a nice swordfish. Mmmmmm.

what all is in the burrito? just a mexican mix of cheese? sounds tasty, regardless. for me, burritos are beans (preferably refried pinto, but black is good too), rice, and cheese. maybe some sour cream on the side, and ideally guac, though that is rare and big $. unlimited chips and salsa = heaven

it's just cheese...that yummy mexican farmer's cheese. they're actually more like enchiladas because they are covered in a red sauce, but the menu clearly states "burritos" and if you don't call them that, then they don't give you the yummy cheese burritos. ;)

and i agree, unlimited chips and salsa is the best thing ever.

It has to have a quiet atmosphere with intimately lit tables, a knowledgeable and friendly maitre d' and a good wine list.

As for cuisine? Classical French or Italian, with lots of fish on the menu.

Mmmmm...

:)

Thai
Lebanese
Mexican
Indian
Chinese
Japanese
Greek

If I have to narrow it down a bit then Mexican and Lebanese.

ahhh nice!

i'm not a huge fan of enchiladas but i'm not sure whether it's the corn vs flour tortillas or if it's just sorta too much cheese for me... although that's hard to believe to be possible. hah.

i'm hungry

thank heavens i just had lunch, or i'd still be drooling over this. :p

FYI, there is *no* such thing as too much cheese! :)

i'm thinking i need to go get some mexican food tonight....

i think it'd be very hard to have too much cheese, however i do think there are correct/ideal ratios and balances of cheese:beans/tortilla/etc...

I'm not overly selective when it comes to dining out - TGIFriday's or Chili's is good enough for me.
That being said, we went to a great restaurant in Baltimore a few weeks back called Ixia - Med-style tapas. Great atmosphere/decor/music, excellent food, fantastic service, reasonable prices [<$175 for 4 people who drink darn little]. That's the second tapas restaurant I've been to, and it's about the only way I want to experiment with new foods, since you're not stuck with a plate full of nasty, and there is always something else on the table to try out.

in no particular order Mexican, Thai, Indian, and Italian. German food is also good, but I only get that when I go over there since there are no German restaurants that I know of near me.

Thai
Tapas
Italian or Indian, I can't decide which should be 3rd. :p

Oh my god, Lau. If you ever find your way toward east coast USA, I've got a tapas restaurant that'll blow your mind.

The chocolate souffle is like ... the food version of a smile. Or a foodgasm. Whatever. And the asparagus with brown butter ...

mmmm just thinking of food makes me hungry :p

I like amost any foods, I'll eat 'em all.

Chinese
Thai
Mexican
Japanese
Vietnamese
Italian
Indian
any pace that has good noddles/bread is fine with me :D

comfort food- spit roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy

I'm hungry, and I don't know why...

What foods are classed as American cuisine?
McDonalds, Burger King and KFC?
Actually, I would more likely consider foods like Mex-American for instance, burritos... or the chain restaurants like Chevy's. They don't really exist in traditional Mexican fare. *shrug* But yeah, burgers and that whole 'diner' thing, too (burgers and shakes :p).
