i like tuna, especially fatty tuna. i'm not much of a fan of salmon, though i'll tolerate it. unagi (eel) is up there, as is uni (sea urchin). but my absolute favorite is yellow tail. simply delicious.

i like Salmon sushi and tuna sushi... unagi maki rolls are pretty good too. But all in all, I think just plain sashimi is the best... tuna, salmon, whatever it may be.

Spicy Tuna! THE BEST!

I hate it when people say they like sushi and they go "I like California rolls" i mean what kind of low down sushi does not have raw fish?

Can't stand sushi. The idea of raw fish does not appeal to me although i like cooked/smoked fish. Favourite of that is smoked salmon

Hamachi sashimi. But too much of just one fish ain't no good, so the sashimi dinner I usually get comes w/ hamachi (yellowtail), maguro (red tuna), and salmon. Mm.

I tried some incredible toro-- buuut, I'm not into that buttery flavor. I honestly gagged.

And while terribly clichéd, I still loves me some California roll. Ooh, and Dragon Roll. And rainbow roll. And sometimes, caterpillar rolls. Damn it's been forever since I got sushi. :(

®îçhå®?, not all 'sushi' is raw fish.

I'll eat any sushi :D :apple: . Did I mention my dad is a sushi chef? Rated #1 in three nearby counties. /end brag

Yar but that sushi does not appeal to me.
What sushi would that be? You've had every single kind of sushi ever made? You realize there are probably hundreds of kinds of sushi, including a ton that don't use raw fish?

Yes, most sushi have some form of seafood on/ in it... doesn't mean it's all raw. Unagi? Usually it's cooked/ barbequed eel. And a lot of sushi uses cooked crab, shrimp, etc.

Soft Shell Crab Spider Roll :)

There sia place in Vegas called Brians Beach that has a few variations of them and serves them with Eel as well.

I'm with you! Hamachi FTW.

I like california rolls but only when the nasty avocado is removed and takuan (pickled daikon) is used in its place. I'm also a huge unagi fan. It's interesting I like sushi because I HATE salt and salty food. Most sushi isn't salty, but I stay way from tobiko for this reason. No soy sauce or wasabi for me, either. I eat it plain!

At the Todai at Valco I broke their record and ate 54 pieces of sushi one time... and their sushi sucks! (So does benihana's)

I should mention I normally order chirashi but that was when I lived in California. No fresh fish in Utah. :( But, I'll take lower taxes and the $1,000,000 house I just bought for $270,000 over sushi any day. ;)

I've got to have my wasabi and I use low-sodium soy sauce. :p

That might have been my ex and his friend's record then-- I think they ate 52 California rolls (each, they were competing against each other) And they specifically chose CA rolls 'cause it's more substantial than just nigiri. :p
