Oh c'mon...

I call mine whitey or cracker.

Like "Where's my Cracker?"
:D
(No pun intended...and no it's not a racist reference. Saltine crackers are whitish in color, which is what I based that off of.)

Mine iPod and iPhone are always named Kilroy. I choose it because Styx was on tour in 1983/1984 with their Kilroy Was Here album and it was the first concert I ever went to.

I don't name my computers.

I thought I was the only one who named my apple products.

iPod Touch - Henry
iPhone 3g - Chives
iBook - Bertha

Might change the name of my MacBook as its not that fast... Then again, there is not much point as I am upgrading the RAM soon.

I am trying to come up with ideas for the name of the iPhone 3G I am gonna get... Hmm...

after seeing this, it makes me sad that my Touch is named "Bobby's iPod"

i'm either going to name it Jessica Alba (for obvious reasons) or Oakley (those shades are bomb). any thoughts?!?

I call mine "my iPod" or sometimes, unimaginatively, "MiPod"

It's kind of like calling your cat "Cat" but I know what I'm talking about anyway...

My new 2.8ghz MBPro is named Llama; the BootCamp'd WinXP side of things is named LLAMAPC. My HP 17" laptop is named Armadillo. My antique-2003 17" powerBook g4 is Okapi.

Time Machine saves to Llama Backup for the new machine; my 17" only gets certain folders backed up on a 250gb drive with the boring LaCie HD moniker.

My iPod Touch 2g is called Touch O' Matic, while my 80gb video iPod is known as Armadillo O' Pod, as it is used on my HP.

All these names pop-up on network lists and when I sync my 'pods.

my MBP is just named my MBP..
my blue ipod mini is named BluPod.
my iMac is named TheBeast
my hackintosh is named MacPro :)

i name my external HD's, does anyone else ever go that far haha??

The Big Disk (isnt that big, it was when i got it)
THE_PC_DISK (for bootcamp games)
MacBoot (can boot into it if needed)

T1, T2 (no idea why they are called this, just suits them)

iPod nano: FitPod (for the NikePlus)
iPod touch (broke 4 days out of warranty): The iPod Of Endless Annoyance and Frustration (formerly: NotQuiteiPhone)

iMac: Noisy Bugger
PowerBook: Weighty (based on the serial no. starting with W8)

What do you name your Hard Drives?

What do you all name your hard drives? It would be interesting to see what naming schemes everyone is doing. I had East Asian cities but I just renamed my main hard drive from Tokyo to Hong Kong (which was my TC name) and named that to Earth. :p I dono if I am going to change em all up to sci-fi names.

What are your naming schemes?
