Well, you're no fun! :p

Actually, I hate seeing ties on anyone under, oh, 30 as a general age, where everything is ill-fitted and generally too large, and it looks like their mommy dressed them.

I wear ties extremely seldom, which is why I like to wear them when the occasion dictates. A little bit of dressing-up is good for the soul now & again.

30?! People should be able to pick clothes that fit them well before age 30. You should be wearing clothes that fit you at age 18, age 20 at the latest. You certainly don't have to be 30 to look good in a tie/coat and tie/suit and tie. (Or at least I hope not considering I haven't reached age 30 yet.)

I would say, with skinny ties. I personally don't think they look good with Windsor knots, and always use four-in-hand. I pretty much always use Windsor knots for normal-width ties.

And skinny ties are the best kind of ties, well, if you're thin enough. I hate modern fat ties, and medium-sized ones, to me, look generic.

EDIT: Woa, that thread merge threw me for a loop.

I like skinny ties, and I have a good handful of them, although right now I wear ties of all widths fairly regularly.

(And, you know that's how I do! ;) )
