I have a page I created that sits locally in my ~/sites/ folder (so it loads quickly and works offline). I have random flickr images loading at the top, my del.icio.us bookmarks generated on the right side, links to current projects running locally on my computer, and a few other useful links.

A search engine with a difference. It does clustering of unusual words that it finds on page results from a raw search, and suggests these as refinements to your search. Genius! Not too good when you want to access websites that use a language other than English though, in which case it's back to good 'ol Google

Blank page, but my home page is a collection of searches I put together.

Do I see widgets hovering above a blank web page? :D

Either that or you need to get Tiger. ;)

I use a blank page. This way I can type in a URL immediately after opening a new page or quickly strike the tab key to the google search box for a web search. Speed is a friendly tool, constantly clicking the mouse isn't. ;)

It has been set to Yahoo for some time now ... it gives me a quick look at all the "wonderful" things happening in this world.

the apple start page. i'm just too used to it. maybe i'l switch to popsci magazine webpage. i'm a new reader of that magazine.

how'd you do that? looks cool! i'd love that, just with another search box for MRoogle:)

It's just HTML and a wee bit of CSS. You can download the zip containing all the files. I just keep it in my sites folder, but it'll work most anywhere.

I've had a search page of some variety for long before Tiger came out (and yes, I do use Tiger). I find my page to be a slicker alternative to a bunch of widgets taking up dashboard space and system resources (they use a decent amount of memory).
