Oh yes, they are wonderful! Is your kitty chatty? Mine sure is! Whenever I call out her name and stretch out the syllables ("Lllliiiiilllllyyyyyyy"), she'll retort back with a really long, really loud howl! I was just telling my mom yesterday that someone needs to invent an immortality drug for pets, because I just don't know what I'll do when she's gone.Another siamese lover! Great cats- I love my little girl to death.
Yup, the nice slate grey/grey stripes on that purty buff background (which looks like its mostly on the belly). What a cutie!!!
And for your question, it would just be called a Domestic Short Hair. Getting down to a "mix" isn't very likely unless you know for a fact what a parent was. For example, I have a maine coon mix (sorry, no pics, long story). I call him a maine coon mix instead of a Domestic Long Hair because I know his mother was a purebred maine coon. Daddy is whoever the little hussy let hump her when she ran away for 3 days.
i got him from a shelter
That's so great!!!!! I love to hear when people adopt cats. When the CFA has shows close to my home town the local animal shelter brings some of their potential adoptees over and enters them in the household pets category. Its shuch a nice thing, and usually the kitties have new forever homes by the end of the first day.![]()

Light Colored Calico
Calicos are 99/100 female because the genetic "problem" stems from the dominant and recessive genes for the basic colors of kitties which reside on the X chromosome. And you cant really have both if you dont have XX.
Yeah, that's not my cat! Although it is a very cute one.![]()
My boy, Iago, has (correct me!) a silver spotted tabby coat and the other, my girl, Houdini, is black and white... Or what's the difference between silver and "blue?"

My personal favorite coat color and pattern is the silver classic tabby.
Sounds quite sensible. Probably doesn't want strange humans looking at her on the Internet. She's older now, but it's hard to get a picture of her. She usually sleeps under the couch or bed and runs away when we try to take pictures of her.

The photo names and the original post giving the name "Maggie" are kind of a giveaway too.![]()
3. Cleo - She belonged to a friend, but didn't get along with them, and like my Uncle, so they took her. She loves me for some reason

Do all cats lift their ends up when you scratch it?
From my experience most cats do, but I have known cats that do not.
