My current all time favourite shoe.

ES25-Accel-black.jpgG.jpg

I haven't owned a pair of suede sneakers like this in a couple of years because I've been infatuated with throwbacks. (Corywolf's are pretty tight, incidentally! :)) But I loooove these kinds of shoes. Once upon a time, I had a pair in a bluish purple that were soooo sweet. :D I need to get a new pair of suede sneakers. :)

For everyday use I have 3 main pairs:

i) Brown suede** Puma Romas (that actually survived being washed at a regular 60°C washing machine program when I just had to wash them, the "gold" writing on the side disappeared, but other than that their just fine :D):

ii) A pair black suede** Airwalks, that I cannot find any images off at the moment, and I have no idea what model they are. I'll keep looking, or just take a picture of my old ones...

iii) Regular Dr. Martens original, of course (extremely worn out, soon to be replaced by a new, identical pair ;)):

My fine pair of shoes are also Dr. Martens (why shouldn't they be?):

** It's really quite insane that two of my three regular pair of shoes are suede. I live in a place where it rains 250 days each year. I don't even like suede leather that much, but I did like those shoes... ;)

Gotta love the Brown Gum Kerry Ketz's

Very nice.
Yup, you just got to. I tried to get them again but couln't find them anywhere, so bought them in green instead.

Oh, and I think they may be Kerry Getz's :p

1 pair of black Vans
and as usual it was a huge pain to find a black pair of shoes

1 pair of green/white Adidas sneakers which were my former street shoes
no used as backup or for mowing the lawn

1 pair of "nice shoes" for going with a suit but i don't know where they are since i haven't worn my suit since 2-3 years

Just got these Sketchers Skeptics for my birthday. Very comfortable! But doesn't match well with my clone trooper outfit =(

I Love my Addidas Sambas! I have been wearing Sambas for over 10 years, and before that I wore Puma's until they were discontinued. Best shoes ever, and they even have a white version!

My gay, loserish physical education teachers wear those shoes, so i never had a high standard for them. But now that I see them on the screen, I like them. I'm gonna get those as my next pair.

tsubos and new balance, need some new hiking boots, my timberlands are on the last leg

In UK ... 3 prs Loake - black, black and black, 1 pr Jones - black, 2 prs Timberland - brown and brown.

In Australia ... 1 very old pr Reebocks, 1 pr Jandals (brand), several prs freebee airline slippers, 1 pr bare feet.

Dr. Martens. The finest foot coverings on earth.
Hear, hear. My footwear of choice – very comfortable and hard-wearing. I've had my current pair of boots for about three-and-a-half-years now and there's still quite a bit of life in them yet.

Indeed – why not? I've actually got the same pair of shoes as you've shown (as well as my 'everyday' Docs) that get brought out and dusted down on the odd occasion where I have to look smart.

my collection

cheap:

and1 skate shoes less than 20.
spalding crosstrainers less than 20.
nunn bush loafers less than 30.

midrange:

carolina workboots 99.

overpriced

ecco workboots 190. (i will never pay that much again since the carolinas are just as good)

but two or three years from now, i will have the carolinas or similar priced brand be the high end, a new balance be the midrange, and a couple of sub 20 dollar shoes be my everyday after work and weekend shoes

Hmmm...right now - cheap $2 Wal-Mart flipflops. Normally, a size 9 1/2 pair of Reebok classics, with my own wide red shoelaces and two plastic things that say 'left' and 'right', so I will never forget which is which;).

I have a pair of these Clarks shoes, they're my current favourites. No shoe lace, I just slip them on. very light, very comfortable. sort of a mix between a slipper and a running shoe. Suede too. I only get suede shoes.

Collection;

-Some Adidas Basketball trainers - £60
-Age old casual Kickers suede trainers (4 years old! they are destroyed. but good for fell running when you don't want to ruin good shoes) - £60
-Clarks suede trainers - £80
-Serious looking brown Kickers shoes - £120
-Chunky Adidas suede trainers (look immaculate but have a mini hole in both soles that lets in water, grr.) - £60

I've no idea about names either. they're just shoes to me :)
