Now for me, all the old collectable stuff. I'm waiting for a kind of job lot deal. Old Lc's G series old MacBooks etc.

I'd like to find mint boxed stuff, but something tells me that is not going to happen. Also old touch stuff in boxes.....In short, a collection of all the old Apple devices from the past.

If I had to pick one old Mac, I'd take a fully loaded SE/30. I'd run A/UX on it.

I used to run A/UX on my IIfx.

i've always wanted a white iMac. just before they moved to the aluminum ones. love the way those things look. kind of wish apple still made more white products.

anyway, what i REALLY want is the old 30" cinema display. yes please. mm.

My "Dream" Computer since I started collecting apple computers was an iMac G4. I've been fighting for them on ebay for a couple weeks now, and keep getting outbid last second :(. I'd love a 20", but Settling for a 17". Sit this next to a nice set of Harman Kardon Soundsticks.

Others would probably be a Purple iMac g3, a G3? G4? Cube. The whole setup with the matching keyboard, speakers, monitor. a lot of the late 90s stuff was pretty cool.

Just as a point of pedantry for those wanting a Macintosh 128k, if you really want the very first Mac, then the one you want was just called the Macintosh. Later editions were named Macintosh 128k after the launch of the Fat Mac (512k) so as to distinguish the two.

As I say, it's pointless pedantry as there's no spec difference, but the originals don't have the 128k model name on them.

Mine lasted quite a few years as it was upgraded first to a 512 and later to a Mac Plus.

I've always wanted one of the iMacs (the colorful ones that came in green or blue). I forget their exact names but those are always something I've wanted. They were the first machines to make me "Mac curious".

Basically any of the G4 Models, especially the iMac g4.

iMac g3: gotta love the classics!!

BlackBook: who doesn't love the BlackBook?

IMac 20" or iMac 24": next best thing to the 21.5" and 27" iMacs.

Any of the Apple II's: so portable!! :D

Unibody MacBook that looks like a MacBook Pro: good for trickig people!!

Clamshell iBooks: CLAMS!!!!!!

Also, any of the aluminum Cinema Displays, especially the 30" model.

That's basically it!!

I think you mean the G3 Series. They came in SO many different colors.

g4 tower, check
g5 tower, check
any mac mini , check
imac g3, check
now all I need is a imac g4 and a g4 cube and
I will be set for life!

I have always wanted one of the acrylic 23" Cinema displays to go with my G4 cube.

I've always wanted a TiBook since they were first released, and have always had an affinity for laptops with a similar look. I've since read about all the problems the TiBooks have (broken hinges, paint chipping, logic board issues, etc.) so I'm actually afraid to buy one only for it to fall apart!

Other Macs I'd like to have:

PowerBook G4 12-inch
Black Macbook or 13" MacBook Pro
PowerBook G3 Pismo
Clamshell iBook (Key Lime)

Already have a MacBook Pro 15" mid-2010 (my main computer) and a Blueberry Clamshell iBook.

I like laptops. :D

I've always been fond of the iMac G3 (any model) and the iBook G3 clamshell, simply because at the time they were the first desktop and laptop personal computers to be radically different than anything else that had ever existed on the market. It would be nice to get my hands on one or both of them one day, as a collectors item. :)

Another one I've wanted is any of the Power Macintosh/Performa 5000 series - I used those a lot in elementary school and I kinda like its all-in-one design.

Also, any of the Macintosh LC/Performa 500 series. My second grade classroom had one of those (running System 7.6), which I used quite frequently and played a few games on. Sadly, at some point that year it died and displayed the Sad Mac at bootup with the death chimes. :( IIRC, it was replaced a year later with an Indigo iMac G3.

I've always wanted a 15" Powerbook G4. Those things were absolutely gorgeous. I've seen a couple for sale for $150-200, so I might pick one up as an impulse purchase.:D

The G4 Cube's are gorgeous aswell, they're one of Apple's worst Macs ever IMO
You're kidding right? The only thing wrong with the cube was the price they were listed for. Everything about the cube as a computer is fantastic. Desktop components, 3x RAM slots, upgradable video card, 3.5" HDD, built in wireless and full I/O made the cube a great computer. Just a few Macs that were worse include the G4 Mini, white iSight iMacs (G5 and Intel), beige G3 desktop, Wallstreet/PDQ PowerBooks, and probably the PowerMac 7200.

PowerBook 550c
PowerBook Duo 2300c
PowerBook 100

Quadra 950
PowerMac 6100 (DOS-Compatible)
PowerMac 9500
PowerMac 9600
PowerMac G3 (Beige tower)

DayStar Genesis MP 800+

Anything running Copland Dev. Release...

Because I'm far too lazy to read this thread for any posts I may have made in the past, here is a (possible) reiteration:

Always wanted a Macintosh LC (one of the pizza box styles) because we had a few in my third grade classrooms; always loved the design. (So many Oregon Trail memories...)

Recently I've been getting an itch for a 12" PB G4. I've had two 12" iBook G4's and was never really interested in a PB, but for some reason recently I find myself browsing eBay every so often... But I already have a perfectly good netbook, and I can't stand to have things laying around, not being used.

I'd love to have another Mac mini again, the old design. I technically own one, but it has been crippled (by me, of course) beyond practical use; one in decent condition would be nice. :p

A B&W PowerMac G3 is another of my "always have wanted" machines. But I would have practically no use for one, so I'll probably never own one.

An older PB might be cool, but again, no use.

There's a few others I've had a passing interest in, but none I would actually spend money for. Everything else I've really wanted, I have acquired.

EDIT: Ooh, almost forgot, a black MacBook would be nice too. :D
