I got the iPad Air because I thought it would be nice to have one. Basically, because I could. I used to not see the point of having an iPad since I've always had an iPhone and got the MacBook Air from 2013 in June. So why would I need an iPad? I just thought it would be helpful. Another device that I could use if I didn't want to or couldn't use my MacBook Air. Sometimes I could just take my iPad Air to places. It's the best way to read, use the internet, watch movies, etc. I just wish it didn't have the yellow tint on the side, but it's no big deal. I'm very happy otherwise.

I got them for college mostly (so I could download the textbooks, you would be amazed at how many are still willing to carry around a 1400 page textbook instead of buying a tablet and downloading the book instead). It's also great for wanting to watch a film or reading a book during leisure time or lunch time at work. I started out with an iPad2, the 16gb one and then about six months later upgraded to an Air 32gb, so far no issues, other than that Air occasionally crashes the Chrome browser.

I never had an iPad before I bought the 2 and the Air, I have a nexus 7, but the screen was too small for me for the entire textbook page to show up and the iPads handle the textbooks wonderfully.

my ipad 2 was an experiment. I wanted to know if it could entertain me and fulfill my home computing needs, because my iMac is getting old (it's from 2007)

after these 3 years, I noticed I can do day to day tasks on my iPad, but I miss doing real work on it.

Now that I bought a rmbp, the iPad is pushed to the coach and bed.

I'm not sure if I'll buy a new iPad again...we'll see
